I have taken care of pets for over 40 years and have had dogs and cats throughout my life. I have never met a dog who hasn’t been my fast friend. I am skilled at making sure a dog feels safe and heard.

I have known Lisa for over 30 years. One of her defining characteristics is her boundless love and compassion for animals. She is someone who finds immense joy in building strong relationships with the pets in her life. To illustrate some examples: - She sits on the floor, on the stairs, or in the middle of the hallway instead of a couch if that's where an animal prefers to cuddle. - She has thousands of similar photos of pets on her phone, because every position/expression/angle is slightly different than the last one. - She will exclaim, "That's a good dog!" at every sighting of a four-legged friend on a walk outside. If you're looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, Lisa is your person.
I’ve known Lisa for 44 years and she has always had a cat or dog, or more than one, in her care. Lisa is a kind, gentle, intelligent and responsible human. Lisa has adopted shelter dogs for years and when she has she lovingly chooses the most needy dogs. Her former doggie, Mary Bailey, was partially lame, having been shot in the leg as a puppy. Cassady, who passed away recently, had a huge fenced in yard to run around in and was treated royally by Lisa. She gave her the best food and toys (she loved playing with lambchop) regular visits, and lots of hugs. Lisa would make a wonderful pet caregiver for Rover.
I have known Lisa for 10 yrs. She is a lover of dogs and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave my dogs with her. She loves animals of all kinds and had a special bond with her own dogs. She lost her dog to cancer recently and is waiting for a bit to welcome another to her heart. In the meantime she would love to fill the void by loving someone else’s pup.

My home has a fenced-in backyard to run and play in. I recently lost my baby dog and I miss her terribly, so your dog will be my surrogate puppy. This means that he/she will get unlimited love, with a place to sleep on my bed, couch, chair, lap…

A typical day
I will play catch in the backyard, let your dog have the zoomies, get belly rubs, and if they are good on the leash and like to walk, I’m happy to go for walks.
