I was very disappointed with my experience and would not book with Lisa again. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the home smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, and the small fenced backyard was littered with cigarette butts. While I knew Lisa had a dog of her own, I was not informed that she would be caring for multiple other dogs at the same time. I counted approximately five dogs in the home when I dropped mine off, which was concerning. Communication throughout the stay was minimal. I only received updates after reaching out first, and I had to specifically request photos to check on my puppy. Even then, the photos provided did little to reassure me that she was doing well. My puppy is still house training, and Lisa was aware of that before accepting the booking, as it's clearly stated in my profile. However, I was surprised to receive a message saying that the large pack of pee pads I provided was nearly gone. This is very unlike my dog. I had also explained that she needs several walks throughout the day and not just brief trips into a small backyard. Since bringing her home, she has only had a few accidents, all due to me not taking her out quickly enough, which makes me question whether she was getting the exercise and bathroom breaks she needed. Lisa also asked me to drop my dog off earlier than my scheduled time, and I adjusted my plans to accommodate her request. However, when my return flight was delayed, I received multiple messages asking when I would be picking my dog up, despite the fact that I still arrived within the pickup window agreed upon through Rover. She even texted that she would leave my dog's belongings outside the front door, which I found odd and unprofessional. If my scheduled times were an issue, the booking should not have been accepted. The biggest disappointment was bringing my dog home smelling heavily of cigarette smoke and a musty, mold-like odor. It took three baths before the smell finally came out. She also seemed withdrawn and unhappy, and it took several days before her normal happy, playful personality returned. Overall, this was not the level of care I expected, and I cannot recommend Lisa based on my experience.

Lisa was fabulous, she accepted a last minute boarding request and my dogs returned home happy & healthy!

Lisa was very flexible with the timing and pepper was happy to play with other dogs
