Hello! My name is Lisa and I’ve lived in LA for just over 2 years now. I was born and raised in Wisconsin but have lived in many places and with animals being an ever present factor in my day to day. I work from home and fur babies are the perfect companion for these long summer days. I come from a household full of pets, and have experience with all different shapes and sizes of cats and dogs. My knowledge is extensive and easily applied towards pet care! I also have some college education and direct hands-on experience from when I was attending college for pre-veterinary med. I’m extremely knowledgeable and attentive to animals' needs and value their comfort above all else. Whether your pup is high energy, has separation anxiety, needs extra lovin’, or requires a strict routine, I am capable and happy to accommodate! My entire motto is for their experience to be just like a home away from home, and to leave here happy as can be. I also have two cats of my own and have taken in sick strays from the streets and rehabilitated them. Needless to say, I am completely comfortable with taking care of anything from a puppy or a kitten all the way up to seniors, which I love. And not to worry, with over 3 years experience on Rover I have had 0 issues with safety as all play time and meals are monitored. All animals in the house are safe and trusted as well. And if you happen to have a special needs pet or an elderly animal that requires extra care I am completely willing and able to fulfill their needs! I only accept 1 pet at a time traditionally (exceptions can be made) so 1 on 1 care is easily achieved. And I have a HUGE added bonus of living with 4 roommates who all equally love cats and dogs and will surely spoil your fur baby right alongside myself 🤍 Please reach out with any additional questions, and thank you!

Lisa was fantastic! She took Apolo out on a pup cup adventure, gave us daily updates with photos and videos. Our dog is super playful and got along incredibly well with her dog so we got lots of footage of them playing and having a blast :) will definitely book again!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Lisa. She took care of my old man, Dave so well that he has been depressed for the two days since he got home. He absolutely loved his stay. How do I know this? Because Lisa sent me text messages, videos and pictures of Dave everyday, keeping me updated on how much fun he was having. She made sure he was given the right medication at the right times, he was fed on time, and was kind enough to allow him to sleep in every pet bed in the house. (Not sure how much the cat liked it). I loved that there were not a lot of animals there at the same time so I was sure Dave was comfortable and got all the attention he could have wanted. I am so happy that we now have someone we can entrust with Dave's care for any trip we want to take again. Lisa is 100% the best sitter we have ever had for our old man, Dave and this includes people we've had stay at the house. Lisa went above and beyond and I cannot thank her enough for making both me and Dave comfortable for the 16 days we were apart.

Lisa is wonderful and kind and respectful and really makes you feel at ease if you happen to have any worries or concerns. She sends pics and videos daily with updates which is always nice. I didn’t realize they had a pool in the backyard. My dog has never been around a pool or swimming for that matter, so I expressed my concern and Lisa mentioned there is always someone outside in the backyard when dogs are back there. So that made me feel a lot better with the pool. I was also a little worried about their dog, Tophe, playing too hard with my dog. Again, I expressed my concern and Lisa reassured that she’d keep an eye on playtime and split the dogs up if play got too hard. All in all, the dogs got along great from what I saw and heard. Lastly, I really appreciate Lisa asking if I ever take Penny to a dog park and how I would feel if she took her to one. Asking before doing. Just in case. I appreciated that so much. After picking Penny up, she was sleeping on the car ride home and out like a light for the rest of the day/night. I know she played a lot and really enjoyed all the company from Lisa and the roommates. Lisa is wonderful and me being a “new dog mom” having questions and concerns, Lisa was understanding and kind about it all. Penny had a great stay.
Lisa was so good with my old man Hilo! He didn't want to leave when I came to pick him up. He played so well with Lisa's dog and cats and was clearly just as comfortable as he is at home. We will definitely be using Lisa to watch Hilo again!

I am my own boss and make my own schedule, so I am incredibly flexible on both a daily and weekly basis. So whether you want to book a boarding a month in advance or a day in advance, chances are I’m your guy.

My approach to animal care depends entirely on the needs and requirements of each individual pet. My own cats are very content to lounge all around all day and will come seek me out on their own, so I employ a very relaxed approach. Given that for most pets entering a new space with new people and animals can be quite a stressful experience I make it a point to be calm, gentle, and not overwhelming to them. But to keep a watchful eye, and ensure their safety above all else. So you can have that peace of mind! I live in a 1 story house with my own en suite that is quite large with a baby gate installed for their safety and separation if needed. It has plenty of room to allow your pet to slowly acclimate to a new space over the course of a few hours, or even days, depending on them. I also have a large backyard for your pups to lounge about in the sun! I’m conveniently located near to a dog park as well!

My home comes with its own private back yard that also includes a pool for any water loving pups. Rest assured that all dogs will be supervised outside at all times and will not be left unattended. And besides from that I go on at least one long walk a day for dogs that require more exercise. On more lazy days I’ll be indoors lounging about and watching TV or playing games, and your dog has a reserved spot right next to me if they so please. We have ample dog toys as well for them to play with throughout the day. And of course, a dog of our own that is spectacular with others and more than happy to play all day.
