Hi! My name is Lisa and I own a home in West Amherst where I live with my husband Chris, our school aged daughter, 3 horses and 12 chickens. We sadly lost our Whippet, Hero, in September 2026. My husband and I are experienced pet owners with flexible schedules, looking to help out with people’s pets! I grew up on a small farm where we had horses and a few cattle and of course, always had a dog. My family dogs were almost always “bully breeds” but I love all breeds. As an adult, I adopted an American Pitbull and a Shar Pei who both lived to be well into their teens. After they passed, we got our boy, Hero. He was an energetic guy who loved long hikes and snuggles on the couch. We miss him very much. I like to stay active and love having little pals to adventure with. If you book with us, while I will be the primary caregiver for your dog, Chris will be around lots too and is sometimes able to help me out with scheduling conflicts. We look forward to hearing from you and meeting your fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment
Although we currently don’t have a dog at home, we do have a fenced in backyard and can provide safe a safe and secure environment.

Schedule
I work inmy own business in town and have a fairly flexible schedule with evenings and weekends mostly free. Late afternoon walks are my favourite!
