I have a flexible schedule that makes it easy to fit pet care into my daily routine. I work part-time in a medical office, typically for 4–6 hours at a time, and also work part-time from home. This gives me plenty of availability throughout the week and the flexibility to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, playtime, and extra attention when needed. Because I’m not away from home for long workdays, I can be flexible with your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get the care, companionship, and attention they’re used to while you’re away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow your instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any special needs, and I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, habits, and preferences. Safety is always a priority, so I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could put a curious pet at risk. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would expect someone to show in mine. Most importantly, I want you to feel completely comfortable while you’re away, knowing your pets are safe, happy, and getting plenty of attention and affection.

A typical day will depend on your pet’s personality, energy level, and normal routine. For dogs who love to be active, that might mean walks, outdoor time, playing fetch, and plenty of opportunities to explore and burn off some energy. For cats, it could include interactive play, toys, treats, and attention on their terms. And for pets who are happiest just having company, I’m always happy to provide plenty of cuddles, belly rubs, and relaxing time together. I want your pet to enjoy their time with me, so I’ll tailor our days to the activities they love while keeping their regular schedule as consistent as possible.

I’ve been caring for animals for more than 30 years, from my own family pets to pets belonging to friends and neighbors. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need plenty of attention and playtime to senior dogs who need a little extra patience, care, and a slower pace. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow the schedule and care instructions that help your pet feel comfortable and secure. Whether that means walks and playtime, lots of belly rubs, keeping up with a puppy’s routine, or giving an older pet some extra TLC, I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I’d want for my own.
