Weekend Wags & Tattle Tales!!!
Hello! I’ve been teaching first graders for 24 years. While on breaks from teaching, I enjoy being a substitute doggy daycare provider. My fur baby goes to doggy daycare when I’m teaching first graders, so I know what it’s like to entrust others with your loved one! This is where I’ve been trained by the best Doggy Daycare provider in Lathrop! I substitute at my dog’s daycare when I’m not teaching first graders. I’ll be retiring from teaching soon, but in the meantime, I’m available on weekends when your regular provider isn’t available. I’m planning to start Labor Day Weekend in my home. Please plan to book in advance, so we can introduce your fur babies to my fur baby. My schnoodle gets along great with others. I’m more experienced with Shitzu’s, Poodles, Schnauzers, Yorkies, Doodles, and Cocker Spaniels no. I’m open to setting up a meet and greet with other small to medium breeds.

My partner had to travel last minute out of the country in 2018, Lisa was able to help me walk my two dogs while I was at work. They are used to someone working from home so it was so nice to have her spend time with them each day while I had to work.
Lisa was an amazing pet sitter for my 4 dogs when we went on vacation. Typically I have a hard time returning because our pups are so needy after being watched by anyone else. But when we return after Lisa has been with them, it is like we never went anywhere! I could tell she spent time with them , rather than just covering the basics of food, water, etc. They were all happy and calm. She has great communication, is completely reliable and very good at taking care of pets! I would 100% recommend her to anyone!
Our pups sitter is also like a step mommy to our pup. Lisa has been caring for him for well over 5 years. She gives us peace of mind when we leave him with her. Would highly recommend her to not take care of but love your pet as if it were her own.
Lisa has been watching my Baloo for about a year now! He can't get out of the car fast enough. He is happy to be there. She takes great care of him. I have had no problems leaving him in her care. Her dog and mine have a fun time running around the fenced yard. They get along great. Lisa holds him and loves him. I know he is in great hands.
I’ve known Lisa for many, many years and I can’t imagine someone better to take care of your pets. She is a very loving individual and will take care of your pet as if it’s her own baby. She has her own fur babies and she gives them everything they need and MORE. She’s a wonderful cat and dog mom and she will make an excellent caregiver for your pets too.
I'm so thankful that I found Lisa L. She was so wonderful. She took care of my pup like it was her own. Gave him lots of love. She kept me updated with pictures and videos through out the day. She really made me feel at ease. She now has been sitting my pup for 5 years. I wouldn't leave my fur baby with anyone else.

Schedule
I’m currently teaching Monday-Friday, but will be available on weekends from 4:00 pm Friday to 9:00 pm Sunday. Hourly visits are welcome, as well as over night visits.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced back yard and my own fur baby to keep your fur baby company! I allow animals on the furniture and they get to sleep on the bed with me, unless they prefer their own crate or bedding. I have a doggy door so they have access to going potty when needed. I also live in a smoke free home.
Pets
A typical day
Being a first grade teacher for more than 20 years. I know how important routines, recess, and playtime are for kids and our fur babies. I will provide routines for meals, playtimes, potty breaks and rest. I have a doggy door to a gated patio area, which leads to a larger grassy area for chasing balls and playing.
