In my home the dogs have free reign of the downstairs and fenced yard. They’re allowed on the furniture and to hang out and play pretty much anywhere.

I do feed in kennels as it’s the best way to avoid confrontations and/or squabbles over food. Mine are trained to be fed in theirs but if yours isn’t kennel trained we can accommodate.

When hosting, the visiting dogs will go wherever I go. I don’t believe in treating dogs like guests, so if mine are going to get muddy, so will yours. If mine are going to the beach, or our cabin, or wherever, so will yours.

I have been owned by dogs my entire life. Growing up, we had 'outdoor dogs', who only came in at night and weren't allowed in the main part of the house. I always swore when I had my own house, my pets would be companions, not just creatures to live in the yard, and that's exactly what I've done. My house is fair game for any companion animal staying here. I fully believe that a dog can go anywhere I go, and have been known to take my houseguest dogs on vacation with me and to family gatherings! Additionally, I'm a certified veterinary technician who has a special interest in behavior, so I'm well versed in taking care of any medical or behavioral needs your pet may have when they're staying with me.

So wonderful and accommodating! My kitty stayed with Lisa for about a week and a half, and I was kept updated on his shenanigans throughout. It’s also very evident that Lisa has a great knowledge of and love for animals, of all sizes and kinds and breeds, and it made me feel really good to know that she enjoyed having my baby around. I would 100% trust Lisa again with caring for my cat.
Lisa was absolutely incredible with our boys—our Pitbull and our high-energy, escape-artist Catahoula. We left them with her for a full week while we were on vacation, and we truly had zero worries, except maybe for Lisa!🤪 Our Catahoula is not an easy dog—he’s smart, intense, and always looking for his next “project” (usually escaping 😅). Lisa handled him like an absolute pro. Not only did she keep him safe and engaged, but she also worked with him on training, which completely blew us away. Both dogs came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. You can tell Lisa genuinely understands dogs and meets them where they’re at—she’s patient, capable, and incredibly trustworthy. We honestly can’t say enough good things about her. If you’re even considering booking with Lisa, do it—you’ll feel completely at ease leaving your pets in her care. We’re so grateful we found her and will 100% be booking again!
