Hi! My name is Lisa. My husband, Jeff, and I work side by side, as a team , with Rover. First, I'd like to thank you for considering us as your pet sitters. You can rest assured that we will treat your pet as if it was our own! We give lots of positive reinforcement to your pet and use his or her name frequently. Telling him or her, as an example, things such as, "Doc, what a Good dog you are!" I have 35+ years of experience taking care of pets and am certified with the American Red Cross in Pet CPR and first aid. In addition, we are members of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. (NAPPS) Jeff has been caring for pets since I met him over 20 years ago. Animals just gravitate toward him! He gives off such good, calm and loving energy that he is a natural as a pet sitter. I do the dog walking and drop- ins, whereas, both of us work together when we are boarding your pet or we are house sitting. Two avid pet lovers... What better can you ask for?! I love to be outside in the fresh air with dogs no matter what the weather and we feel privileged to take your dog on long walks. Like humans, dogs need lots of love, fresh air and plenty of exercise! Cats are another passion we have, so if you need cat care we are the people you're looking for! The safety (and happiness) of your pet is paramount to us. We will be sure to find out about any special needs your pet may have, such as administering medication. In addition, we all know that pets love routine, so it will be important for us to continue to provide whatever routine that you have established for your pet. We call ourselves pet whisperers because , while we are with your pet, we both speak with tenderness to your pet and use his or her name throughout the entire visit – just as if we were having a conversation with a friend – – and indeed we are! We have more than enough love to share with all the animals that we are lucky enough to get to care for. I very much hope that you choose us as your pet sitters! An additional note: if we are caring for your dog or dogs along with your cat or cats, the cat fee is $11 per night .

A great petsitter! Conscientious, responsive, and goes above and beyond for the pets. Getting to familiarize the cats with Lisa before I left was also a huge source of comfort. I was very pleased with the visits and most importantly, my two cats were too!
Lisa was dependable and made sure our kitty was well cared for. She communicated well and we appreciate her!
Lisa and Jeff are great pet sitters and house sitters! It's clear from the start that they love animals, and were very thorough with getting to know our dog and our routines. They were also very respectful of our home, and even went above and beyond during their stay.

Lisa and Jeff did an amazing job, as always! Within minutes of their arrival at our house, our cat Gracie was already cuddled up with Lisa, and we knew that they were taking great care of our silly dog because (realizing that his idea of how many ball throwing sessions is reasonable might not ACTUALLY be reasonable ;-) )they checked in with us to see how often he was allowed to have his ball thrown for him. Also as always: sheets washed, bed made and house cleaner when we returned then when we left it. I never worry about having to leave our pets at home when I know I can leave them with Jeff and Lisa--peace of mind for me and stellar care for our beloved dog and cat!

We live on 4 acres of land and right next-door to a farm so there is plenty of places for us to explore nature together! 🐾

A typical day
Three walks a day. Playing ball or tug of war. We live on 4 acres and there's a small trail on my land leads to a farm where we can enjoy the sights and smells of the farm life. In addition, we have many dog parks nearby, should your dog enjoy romping around with other dogs. I am a full-time Professional Pet Sitter so I devote tons of time with your pet. We do lots of cuddling on the couch and we love to snuggle in bed with your dog, as well. (as long as these behaviors are permitted at home!)

- I would like to know about your pets temperament, likes, dislikes food/toy aggression. Do they get along with other dogs and cats. In addition, when going on walks I would like to know if your pet is friendly with other dogs, children etc. I will want to know the dog's favorite activities and places to explore so that we can enjoy them with him or her. It will be important for me to learn how best to comfort your dog should he/she become anxious. If you choose to board your dog at my home, I will ask you to be sure to bring their doggy bed, favorite toys, and anything else he/she likes, so that he/she will feel more at ease. Something else I will want to know is whether your dog prefers to ride in the car with me or would prefer to stay at home, should i need to run an errand. I will also ask if your dog or cat is being currently treated with flea and tick medication . If you are boarding your dog at my home, we will want to know if your pet likes to go to the doggy park, likes to play fetch etc. Also, I will want to know what commands your dog knows. I will be sure to get all Veterinary and contact information. We will need you to call your vet and also an emergency vet nearby to give us permission to bring you in the case your pet needs care after hours or on weekends. Is your pet microchiped? I will ask if there are any special precautions or details that the owner would like me to know.
