I work from home with a flexible schedule. Morning dog walks and afternoon dog walks happen everyday and we aim for 10,000 steps or more.

For everyone’s comfort and safety, I am best suited for well-socialized dogs who are comfortable in a home environment and get along with other dogs. I treat our dog guests the way I treat my own: like a member of our family.

Information Lisa I. would like to know about your pet
I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet beforehand to ensure your dog feels comfortable and is a great fit for our home. I'd also love to know what your dog loves and their routine so they feel welcomed and comfortable.
A typical day
Our days start with a 30-minute morning walk around Highland Park to get everyone energized and happy. Then it’s time for breakfast, followed by a cozy nap and some quiet downtime. In the late afternoon, around 5pm (if hot, we wait until sidewalks cool), we head out for another adventure—sometimes exploring Pasadena, Eagle Rock, or one of our favorite local parks for a 45-minute walk. Mid-afternoon we play in the yard or wrestle in the livingroom. In the evening, dinner is served, and we end the day with a special treat: a little ‘dessert’ of pure dried jerky.

Work-from-home Family w/ Sweet Dog!
Pet care experience
Hi! We’re a work-from-home family—along with our sweet fun goldendoodle co-pilot. Over the years, I’ve cared for and raised rabbits, cats, dogs, and even a teenager. I also use Rover for our own dog, so I understand what you’re looking for in a sitter: someone who communicates clearly, sends photos, and treats your dog like family. That’s exactly how I care for every pup in our home. Our dog gets 10,000 steps a day. I also know how to avoid mean dogs behind fences, and I carry a taser for emergencies. I am new to Rover, but not new to dog-sitting. I regularly care for dogs for our neighbors and family.
Reviews
Hi. Lisa is a life long friend and a life long animal lover. She has had pets her entire life. Dogs, cats, rabbits! She has has deep feelings for animals and has been a vegan for over 30 or so years because of this. She can be counted on to go above and beyond for any pet that needs her care.
Lisa absolutely loves my dogs and they love her back. She's also very reliable and communicative. It's always a comfort to have Lisa spending time and watching over our dogs. I can't say enough about how great she is with them.
We’re so grateful to have found someone we completely trust with our dogs. She has watched both of ours—a big one and a small one—and treats them like her own. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in a loving, attentive environment. Her dog gets along great with ours, and it’s always so fun knowing they get to play together while we’re away. And based on how happy and relaxed our pups are when we get back, we know they’ve had plenty of attention, care, and of course lots of belly rubs. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, kind, and genuinely great with dogs!
We couldn’t ask for a better dog sitter than Lisa. So kind, reliable, and clearly loves the pups—our dog is always so happy to see her and we know he is so safe when in her hands.
