Safety, trust & environment
Any pet in my care get VIP treatment! They get the same attention and love that I provide my own animals. I treat your space with immense respect, tidying up after myself is a minimum. I value your privacy as much as I value mine.
Information Lisa H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your pets are timid, frightened, or have a bite history. The knowledge helps me adjust my approach when meeting them. Also, please let me know if your pets have any medical needs or concerns, especially if there are specific time frames that need to be accounted for. As an example, a diabetic cat receiving insulin twice a day, every 12 hours. This is important for me to factor in when scheduling.
A typical day
I already love going on walks, so adding a canine companion makes it even better! We go on walks or play in a fenced in yard if one is available. When inside we would play with indoor appropriate toys, sometimes brush them, and lots of cuddles! For my feline friends, again brushing, cuddles, and play are on the docket! I bring a laser pointer with me to see if they are interested. This next part is applicable to all animals in my care: If they just want to share space in the same room that works too! I'm not going to force them into an interaction that might make them uncomfortable. They will approach me when they are ready; their curiosity and consent is important for establishing a good, trusting relationship. And I promise that I'll keep you updated!

Pet care experience
Highly experienced pet sitter and avid animal lover! As a former animal shelter staff I've worked with many different breeds and sized dogs. I also have worked at 2 different veterinary hospitals, so I'm alert to issues or concerns. I am also comfortable with cats, rabbits, small mammals, and have some experience with birds and reptiles. I also have a knack for taking excellent photos of fur-babies! I love taking pups for a walk or just cuddling the heck out of them! But don't worry, they will always be happy to see you come home 💜 I have operated out of multiple cities across the country. If you are a returning client please feel free to reach out and ask where I'm currently and if I'm available.

Reviews

Lisa was a fantastic dog and house sitter. She took excellent care of our dog, Daisy, and left the house just as she found it. Great communication. She has my highest recommendation!

Lisa is great! Such a lovely pet sitter. My brownie loves her. Definitely recommend.

Lisa stayed at our house with our pup Maisy while we were away overnight, she was flexible and communicative and we felt that our dog was in good hands.

Lisa was great. Was able to stop last minute and took care of my fur baby. Thank you.
