Pet care experience

Big walks cozy stays & lots of love

Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly believe they’re family. I currently have a young Goldendoodle, Benny, so I have hands-on experience with puppies and young dogs, including leash walking, basic commands, recall and crate training. I also cared for my senior dog, Norman, which gave me experience with medications, changing activity needs and the extra patience and attention older dogs deserve. I’m active and love being outdoors, so whether your pup enjoys a relaxed neighbourhood walk or a longer adventure, I’m happy to get them moving! I’ve also completed Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs and Cats for added peace of mind. Most importantly, I’ll care for your dog just as I would my own — with lots of love, attention and safety.

Lisa has been taking care of my dog Gus for years, and I couldn’t recommend her more! She is kind, patient, responsible, and genuinely loves animals. Gus can be anxious at times, and she is so wonderful with him — she understands his personality and always makes him feel safe and comfortable. She loves taking him for walks, gives him lots of attention and affection, and I always know he’s in great hands with her. She is also great at communicating and always keeps me updated, including sending pictures, which I really appreciate. She is reliable, attentive, and truly treats Gus like her own. Any dog would be lucky to have Lisa! 🐾

Schedule

Pet care already fits naturally into my daily routine! I work from home three days a week and am in the office two days. On office days, I come home at lunch to let Benny out, spend some time with him and give him a break during the day. Evenings and weekends are all about walks, playtime and getting outside, so I have plenty of availability for evening and weekend walks. If your pup is staying with me, they’ll simply become part of our routine — joining Benny for daily walks, playtime, outdoor breaks and plenty of time to relax at home.

Safety, trust & environment

I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pup is safe, happy and well cared for while they’re with me. I have a fully fenced yard with plenty of space for safe outdoor time, and I live in a mature, walkable neighbourhood close to Edmonton’s river valley — perfect for daily walks and adventures. For overnight stays, I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so you, your pup, Benny and I can all get acquainted and make sure everyone is comfortable. While staying with me, your dog will be welcomed into our home and become part of our regular routine. I’ll care for them exactly the way I’d hope someone would care for Benny — with safety, attention and lots of love.
