I’ve worked in the animal care field for over 18 years including veterinary hospitals, animal rescue, fostering (from chihuahuas to pit bulls), wildlife rehab, spay/neuter clinics, etc. I’m a certified positive dog trainer through Victoria Stilwell Academy, and am always pursuing educational opportunities with animals. I recently went back to school to finish my vet school prerequisites, and submitted my application in September! I have experience taking care of animals with a variety of special medical and behavioral needs. My own pack includes Bruce (senior poodle mix), Judith (2 y/o pit bull), and Hershel (Maine coon mix) - all are rescues! I was born and raised in the South Bay. In addition to animals, my interests include music, The Walking Dead, and Disneyland, and I’ve been vegan since 2010. 🥕

Lisa has been watching our pets since we moved to CA almost 6 years ago. We tried a few other people first and did not feel comfortable with any of them. I kept searching & finally found Lisa! She takes great care of our cat & dog and loves all animals. She clearly cares for animals more than almost anyone you’ll meet & exemplifies it in her daily life. She’s a great person and a great petsitter!!
Lisa is an amazing person and petsitter. We've been using her for over 5 years and our kitty Toby is in LOVE with her. She sends updates and posts pics for us so we can see him and how happy he is when she visits. 5 STARS and top notch all the way!
Lisa is a great pet sitter, and I would recommend her to anyone. Her love for animals is immediately apparent, and put me to ease that my cat would be in great hands while I was away on travel. She is trustworthy, reliable and a wonderful choice for pet care when owners can't be there.
I rarely take vacations because of my two big dogs and their somewhat special needs situations. I have always had close relatives stay at my house when I am gone but this time, no one was available. I immediately scoured Yelp for Help! The Vegan Petsitter jumped out at me because we share similar dietary views. After my dogs and I met with Lisa, I knew she is a true animal lover. She run her own small rescue and definitely have experience working with different kinds of animals. My two dogs can sometimes be dog aggressive when provoked, so I made sure Lisa understood that very important piece of information. During my trip, she did encounter one situation but she handled it like a true professional and I couldn't have done it better myself. (***side note - always keep your dogs on a leash*** Its the LAW!). She also updated with cute pictures and their general well beings while you are gone. Its great knowing someone is taking great care of your fur kids when you are gone from home. Thanks again Lisa for taking such good care of my babies! We will definitely keep in touch!
Lisa is a professional with pets. We first started working with her a couple years ago when we we were about to leave on a 3 week long vacation. Her Yelp reviews were (and still are) outstanding. The first time we met her, we knew our pets would be well taken care of as all of the dogs and the cat calmly flocked over to her. Since then, we've hired only Lisa to do overnight stays and even just hangouts with our pets when we can't be home all day. Lisa has followed through with all of our pets' medications as needed and kept us informed of how our pets are doing by responding to texts/emails or by sharing photos. We highly recommend Lisa as we know our home and our pets will be well taken care of throughout her stay.

Schedule
I am currently taking college classes and pet sitting/dog walking daily. I will have more openings in my schedule over winter break to help with your holiday needs.
