While I work from home, I’m generally up early. Morning walks and evening walks and/or runs are commonplace. If I can do them with a pet, all the better! I work from my computer and phone, so helping care for animals while home, before or after work often compliments my schedule.

The home I live in is very animal friendly. I have a nice fenced yard with grass and toys for dogs to play. My two boxers died more recent after raising them since they were weeks old. Fortunately, they lived full lives, and pet sitting has helped to fill a void. I’m able to crate, if desired. Share your rules and your animals schedules and care needs, I’ll gladly oblige. If there is no crate request, your pet will be treated like a fur kid while in my care.

Information Lisa G. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know care instructions for your pet(s), so I can love them like my own. How often are they to be fed? Do they have allergies? Do they have favorite toys? Medicine? A special diet? Are they partial to walks? Runs? Free play? Are they dog friendly? Do they like dog parks? Do they enjoy the water? Are they allowed on furniture? Or not, I respect habits can be hard to break. Simply fill me in on the jest so I can best care for your pet!!
A typical day
I love interacting with pets, enjoying the pack behavior tendencies, playing with them, going for walks, showing affection, following care instructions, etc. We’ll likely go on walks to the big park nearby, and if they’re into toys, we’ll put the backyard to good use.

Pet care experience
I grew up in Diamond Bar, Walnut, and Chino Hills helping to bring animals into the world via FFA (lambs, calves, etc.). I grew up on horse property in Walnut, CA (my Bio Mom in Heaven was a barrel rider, no surprise since my maternal side has Santa Anita family roots—given my English roots, I was blessed to learn to ride English and Western saddle from good friends and service work should horse-sitting opps. surface). I served with Hearts and Hooves org. while living in Shelby, NC, where we would trailer horses to school for special needs kids. Thanks to USDA for the grant funding that made that program possible! Grew up in CA around dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, reptiles, fish and horses. Having family farm roots on my paternal and maternal sides in the U.S., England and Norway and some FFA exposure, I’ve helped care for livestock, horses, donkeys, dogs, cats, goats, reptiles, fish farms, bunnies, etc. Had my own dogs, my fur kid boxers since they were pups. Trained my pups via Pet Co. courses, and adopted out a lot of animals in the area at Pet Co. locales in partnership with Cats in Need and the Pomona Humane Society, alongside the founder and owner of the Bunny Bunch org. My dogs passed away more recently after living full lives. They loved visiting Seniors at their homes who could no longer care for pets. And, my girl loved visiting Senior Living communities to lift spirits, Royal Family Kids Camp in the Summer, field trips, and Veteran events. Fortunately, animal sitting helps fill a void while serving as a blessing to people and families.

Reviews
Lisa is a very responsible caregiver. She loves my dog Marley like she is her own. When caring for Marley, she takes her on daily walks and gives her a world of attention. She talks to Marley like she is part of the family. Your pet would be in very good hands under Lisa's care.
Lisa came and lived in my home to care for my Devon Rex cat for a couple weeks when I was traveling . Was so nice for my cat to have a person in the home for her to relate to daily, rather than someone who just stopped in for a few minutes to give her a daily dose of food. While my cat was a little feisty the first few days and missed me, Lisa was patient and waited for the feline need for petting and human comfort to kick in. The house was clean and in great shape, kitty was happy to see me return and Lisa handled the kitty box cleaning as needed. Lisa is very friendly, responsible and loves animals. She has also been a dog owner herself and understands their needs for obedience and discipline when walking on leash in public.
Lisa is the most well rounded person I I know. She not only loves people and animals she especially is loving toward dogs and cats. Many times Lisa cared for my little Shinzo Bb king with such tenderness . Personable, caring, loving, kind, thoughtful, dependable, tender and knowledgable are just a few words to describe Lisa. Lisa is more than trustworthy she is extra ordinary with animals. Previously a dog mom to large dogs and was an amazingly super Dog Mom ensuring basic care always including long healthy walks lots of hugs and social interaction! You could never find a safer choice for a pet caregiver than Lisa. She has my highest recommendation.
