Trusting, caring dog lover!
I’ve had over 10 years’ experience with dogs, mainly the wonderfully crazy Cockapoo kind! I’ve had my own Cockapoo, Ernie, for the last six years since he was a puppy, and he really is the best. He’s incredibly loving, friendly, and gets on brilliantly with other dogs. I’m often trusted to care for family members’ dogs while they’re away on holiday, and I regularly pop in to visit my neighbours’ dogs for playtime, toilet breaks, and a bit of company when they’re out for long days. This has given me plenty of experience caring for dogs with different personalities, routines, and individual needs. I understand that your dog is a cherished member of your family, and that’s exactly how they’ll be treated in my home. I take great pride in providing a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where every dog receives the care, attention, and affection they deserve.

Lisa was absolutely fantastic with our Shih Tzu Oscar. He can be very selective of humans but took to Lisa straight away and I felt very comfortable leaving him in her capable hands. She sent me lots of updates at my request showing me how settled he was and he just looked like part of their family which made me feel a lot more relaxed. I already have her booked for our holiday next year and knowing he will be in Lisa’s safe hands has taken away that added stress

Schedule
As a landlady, I have the flexibility to dedicate my full time and attention to caring for your dog. I only take on one guest dog at a time, so alongside my Cockapoo, Ernie, they’ll receive plenty of one-to-one care, cuddles, and companionship. Your dog will never be left unsupervised while in my care. I live with my husband, who works a shift pattern, so he’s home a lot of the time too. He’s a huge dog lover (possibly even more than me!), so your dog can expect even more affection, playtime, and attention whenever he’s around.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully secure, enclosed garden, with the only access being through the house, providing a safe environment for your dog to enjoy. Your dog will also have the company of my friendly Cockapoo, Ernie, so it’s important that they’re comfortable and get along well with other dogs.

A typical day
Your dog will enjoy two walks each day. We start with a longer morning walk to places such as Saltwell Park, Herrington Park, or a scenic walk to the Angel of the North and back. Later in the day, we head out for a shorter 20-minute walk after tea time. When we’re at home, your dog is welcome to play, relax, or explore as they please. They have free roam of the house and access to the garden, allowing them to settle wherever they feel most comfortable. Feeding is always carried out according to your dog’s usual routine, helping them maintain the schedule they’re familiar with while they’re in our care.
