I have always enjoyed a special bond with dogs and enjoy caring for them and giving them love. Our family has always included a dog or two (or three). I have experience with basic care, puppy training and polite leash walking. I also enjoy the simple joys of playing ball or walking with a canine friend. I have five years experience fostering dogs for a local pet rescue; caring for a variety of breeds and ages. I worked closely with behaviour trainers from whom I have gleamed many techniques and strategies. I only use positive reinforcement when interacting with dogs and treat every animal with complete respect they deserve.

Absolutely incredible experience. Lisa was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable. I could not have asked for a better experience. This was our first time leaving our dog overnight and we were a little nervous but Lisa made everything easy and sent us very detailed reports and photos everyday.
We love having Keanu stay with Lisa and her husband. Their home is very welcoming, and I could tell by the photos that she sends that my pup is really relaxed and enjoying his time there. She is really responsive and puts your mind at ease when you are away. I highly recommend.

We left our dog Leo with Lisa for 5 days and it felt like leaving him with a family member. Lisa made us feel comfortable and ensured the best care for Leo. He had big walks and plays with her other dogs and I could tell he had the best time. Would highly recommend Lisa!

Zeitplan
My day is very flexible and pet care takes priority. I am available any day of the week, pretty much any time of day to help. Typically, I spend the morning walking my own dogs. Weather doesn't scare me either! Caring for other pets is fit in the day as needed.

In my home I use baby gates to keep dogs out of harm. Since I have dogs of my own, they are separated until I am confident everyone gets along. We play games to help dogs feel 'good' being around new friends. Also ensure the treats I use are safe for our guests. In my client's home I follow the rules set out by the client. I will never leave a dog outside alone or unattended. I will never allow a dog to go off leash.

Ein typischer Tag
Our day’s schedule really depends on the dog’s needs. Puppies will need more hands on time, basic training time and two meals. Older dogs will like a longer walk and are happy to relax nearby for the remainder of the day. We have frequent trips outside for potty breaks and monitor the dog’s energy if a second walk is needed or some play time or learning time.
