What I look forward to most is spending quality time with your fur baby. I'v been passionate about animals my entire life. Since my first encounter with a Doberman named Gauge, at age 5. I'm fascinated by their personalities and behavior patterns . When given the opportunity to play in a wide open space I enjoy playing Frisbee and a simple game of fetch. Although hanging out on the sofa and giving tons of cuddles can be just as rewarding. I specialize in care in your home. Which I started doing over 30 years ago. My feeling is there's no place safer or more comfortable for your pet than in its own home. With the added benefit of having your house lived in while you're away to avoid any burglaries. I stay at your home and spend most of my time there unless running errands or going to the occasional appointment. My idea of care is that everyone involved is loved, relaxed and feels comfortable. While in my care your pets will have as many walks as needed, time to run and play if you have a yard, and be cuddled and loved as much as they can handle :-). I make a point of following all of your instructions to the letter. I will stay on any food or medication schedule and be in contact with you daily to give you updates, photos, and ask any pertinent questions. Why I love dog sitting: I have always been an animal lover. So it would be impossible to pinpoint what made a dog lover out of me as I have always been one. I think the first dog I met and became close to was the Doberman Pincer, Gauge, when I was 5. He was very well trained and would do silly tricks to make me laugh. Yet if someone unfamiliar approached me he became very protective. He made me feel safe and loved. Meet my pets: I have beautiful dog loving felines who reside with me and they are always happy to greet a new canine friend. I also foster abandoned kittens and bottle feed them. My experience administering medication: Yes, I can administer oral and topical medication, for injection there will be an additional $5.00 fee charged. I am also very experienced in emergency care. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and very experienced with specialty diets and emergency feeding methods.
