Animals are freakin awesome and I love them! I've had snails, a bird, frogs, co-owned cats (one at a time), as well as cat sit. I grew up with a dog, and spent 15+years with my beloved baby Shiba Inu Kenji. He had one eye, lots of arthritis, kidney issues, and half his teeth in the end but was full of life! Very familiar with meds and schedules and special needs, natural food etc. Not ready for another and didn't know much about this service. I wish l'd have known, so let me help YOU! (Note- i cannot take dogs over 60lbs, check box options are limited. Thanks for understanding)

Lisa was FANTASTIC with my little Frankie! She was so good to him, making sure he got nice walks and treats/food and a comfy place to nap in the sun and sleep. I would recommend Lisa to anyone. She sent pictures each day and treated our Henry as a member of her family. She went very much above and beyond our last sitter.
Lisa was so good with Oscar. We got him back so happy and healthy. She treated oscar like he was her own dog. I'd recommend Lisa for all dog owners and I'd definitely send Oscar there when we travel next time.

I've known Lisa for 20 years. We met as neighbors and our pets bonded us as lifelong friends. She is a go-getter and always thinking of others. She is so thoughtful and kind not just to humans but to animals too. She is also knowledgeable about different breeds, she did her research before getting her dog. She is a great resource overall. She always knew where to find the best toys, healthy snacks, and food. Yearly she would send a care package to me and never forgot to include something for my cat. We have both lost our beloved fur babies and working for Rover would allow her to fill the void. I imagine she looks at Rover as a way to honor her Kenji and spread her love for animals to those who need a helping hand.

Schedule
I work from home so can be available for full days, or as needed. Weekends I may have some things to do but will prioritize where needed.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a crate, but you can provide. Otherwise I have bowls and beds and cones of shame as well as soft flower cone where needed. I also have gates and a pen, and multiple doors. I treat my animals (mine or family friends) like a kid. Safety always, lots of love, and a fun time!
A typical day
I have a ton of toys, ranging from balls, pull toys and brain games where they have to work a drawer or move a top to get a treat. Activities are based on the need of the pet. I love when they want to play, but if they are not feeling it, we can just hang.
