Safety, trust & environment
Safety, Trust, Environment …. DOGS: 1. Introductions to other dogs are slow and on a leash. 2. Play is always supervised in my large fenced in backyard with a covered + shade screened in back deck with fans blowing, access to multiple fresh water bowls, and the weather and temperature outside are considered for safety. 3. The play and socialization and interaction between the doggos is closely monitored to identify inappropriate behaviors and doggo emotional and physical stress. Action is taken. 4. Dogs are fed separately. 5. Boarding requests accepted based on current guest age and size demographics. CATS: 1. The steps leading to upstairs is gated off from the dogs. 2. Cats are boarded in the upstairs part of my home with plenty of window hammocks for bird and squirrel watching. 3. I have a private cats only studio where they can come and go with access to fountain water stations, multiple clean litter boxes, napping cubbies, and super high perches! 4. Cats are turf oriented and I request pet parents provide items from home to help me create a space that supports are a warm and familiar transition into my home. My pet parents will receive daily updates and pictures of their fur baby throughout the stay. I will reach out to you for clarification and direction as needed.

A typical day
A Typical Day? A typical day starts out with dogs taken out to do their business, breakfast, followed by a walk through my neighborhood to take in all the scents and exploration. My small drop in visits and walks happen midday while my partner is at home supervising my guest pets leisure time relaxing or playing. Throughout the day the dogs will get regular bathroom breaks, treats and naps before it's time for dinner and evening walks. Cats will be cats and do as they please, how they want and when they want which is usually in the evening and late night when they’re most active and engaging. In classic cat fashion, they can usually be found napping in a cubby or window hammock.

Pet care experience
- LARGE 2 STORY HOUSE PROVIDING PLENTY OF ROOM FOR A PRIVATE CAT STUDIO AND SEPARATE CAT + DOGS BOARDING! - SMALL + MEDIUM DOGS AND SENIORS DOGS, ALL CATS + KITTENS AND SPECIAL NEEDS CATS AND DOGS! ~ LARGE BACKYARD WITH TOYS FOR DOGGOS TO ENJOY PLENTY OF FRESH AIR AND EXERCISE WHILE THEY PLAY, SOCIALIZE WITH OTHER DOGGOS, AND RELAX ON A COVERED BACK DECK. Your pet deserves an experience which beyond standard expectations. I've embraced the role of a pet sitter and have a lot of fun creating an environment with dogs and cats in mind every step of the way. I have a large two story house where kitty kids and pups can come to hangout in a quiet and peaceful, clean and tidy, safe and secure loving environment. I’m fairly new to Rover and seeking to establish and cultivate deep and loyal trusting relationships with the pet parent community and their fur babies for years to come. I have been casually pet sitting and long-term boarding for friends, co-workers and word of mouth referrals since 2012. As an individual with a “side gig” and desire to evolve myself into a thriving woman owned + operated business; Rover seemed like a good spot to take the next step. I love animals, passionate about creating memorable experiences, have plenty of experience in animal care and offer pet parents and their fur babies an at home boarding experience with love and care. I offer pet parents 34+ years in cat and dog experience as a pet parent for all of my adult life, rescue and foster work, nurse to the little souls who have arrived almost too sick and no hope to go on another day, community outreach work (food + adoption drives) and my years of casual short and long term pet boarding/sitting. I’m conscientious of your doggos age, breed and size as well as any special needs they may have to ensure they have a safe, comfortable and happy stay. Reach out to me if you have any questions I can answer or to schedule a meet and greet and learn more about me. I’m here to help and provide you and your fur fam member a great experience!

Lisa is an excellent caregiver, especially with senior dogs. She takes great care of our Josie and we can enjoy stress-free time away.
