It was our first time using Rover so wasn’t sure what to expect. Lisa was great housesitting for our senior beagle. She kept great communication and provided updates and pics while we were away. Will definitely rebook with her!

Our dogs were welcomed into Lisa’s home and we felt comfortable leaving them in her care for the weekend trip. We got daily updates and pictures of our babies and knew they were in good hands. Very happy and would book again.

I will spoil your dog like my own!

I am a single, 40 some, mother of two grown children and one grandbaby. Based upon all the pics of her (Emma), I bet you can’t tell I love her to pieces!
I love & enjoy all types of animals and have loved animals since as far back as I can remember. My parents always had some sort of dog(s) in my home growing up starting with 6 Siberian Husky’s as my ...

What Lisa would like to know about your dog

It is important to know what the dog likes to do with their owners and try to stick as closely to their existing schedule so they don't get too stressed with new things. A lot of dogs adapt easily, but others find the consistency calming and it allows them to transition comfortably to a new environment. Knowing their feeding time(s), typical potty patterns and other necessary info, helps keep your fur baby(s) less anxious & happier during their stay! For pets that need medication, I always set an alarm to make sure they get their meds on time. The more information owners can provide, the better off their fur baby’s are, so I can mimic the same thing you do for your pets.

After having two dauschunds that had back issues (one who I had to put down at age 5 because of total paralysis), I have a soft spot for senior dogs with disabilities. I think I’d like to foster those kind of dogs in the future.
