Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are unique in their needs, preferences, and comfort levels with new caretakers. You know your dog best, so I like to take the time to ask you questions about your pup so that together we can craft a plan that best sets them up for success. I take introductions slow, paying close attention to your dog's comfort and stress levels to make educated and informed decisions on how to best engage with them in a way that puts them at ease.
Information Lisa D. would like to know about your pet
Please reach out if your pup has special needs or requires special accommodations, and I would be happy to work with you to ensure that I can provide all of the services that they may need. It's always helpful to know if your dog has any triggers or if they have had any history with being attacked, abused, or in a fight. The more information I have about your pup, the better!
A typical day
Dogs benefit from both physical and mental stimulation. I am happy to explore alongside your dog to determine what activities they like best -- leash walks, nose work (such as puzzles and enrichment games), mini training sessions, or group play with my two pups. Some dogs prefer snuggles, and that's OK, too!

Pet care experience
Everyone in my orbit knows that I have been a dog-lover since early childhood. My husband and I have two amazing dogs, Teddy and Corie, and they are such a source of joy and companionship for us every single day; it's truly a pleasure to be their mom! I have extensive experience with dogs, and I was last certified for canine CPR and first aid in March of 2024. I previously worked in a group play boarding/daycare setting, which provided me with training regarding canine behavior and health. After taking thousands of dog walks in my life (and hundreds of professional dog walks!), I feel confident that I can give your pup the fun, rewarding, and safe experience that they deserve!
Reviews
Lisa was fantastic with my Annie! She was very professional and I could tell that she genuinely cared for the well being of my pet. Lisa gave frequent updates/pictures of her time with Annie and made me feel very comfortable. I could tell Annie had a great time with Lisa and I can’t wait to use her services again!

Lisa is fabulous! Finn loves her and so do I. She’s been an immeasurable help to me following my surgery, making sure that my boy is well taken care of.
Lisa and I worked together at a dog daycare and she also took extra special care of my pup when I was away. She is so kind, caring and professional when it comes to dog care. I trust her unconditionally with my dog and I am a very anxious dog parent. No matter the dog I know Lisa would put so much into taking care of them!
