Availability
I recently left my full-time corporate job to pursue other interests. My schedule now permits me flexibility during the day to pet sit, do house drop-ins, and go on daily dog walks.

I take great care to provide plenty of attention, stimulation and activity to my own furry kiddos, and extend that same quality of care to pets that aren't my own. I commit to fully adhering to, and respecting all instructions pet owners provide for how they prefer their pets are taken care of, and pay attention to the small details. I've been a trusted petsitter for many friends and family members over the years, and continue to be a trusted foster parent in partnership with CAWS, here in Utah. I've also volunteered with Best Friends, CAWS, and also for various animal shelters for the past 25 years.
Information Lisa D. would like to know about your pet
It's helpful to know about special needs in terms of medication or illness/disease and what level of care is needed. I'd also like to know about your pup's behavior with other pups/cats/people/kids outside of your home, and how they will react so I know what to expect and can make sure I can keep your pup and others safe. It's also good to know what activity level your pup has -- if they need more activity and stimulation or less.
A typical day
I like taking different walking routes around neighborhoods or going to parks or on hikes, depending on the activity level of your pup. Some breeds need more stimulation in the form of training, tricks, playtime, etc., which I'm happy to do.

Pet care experience
I am a current pet mom to two senior dogs, two cats and any given number of foster kittens. I have experience working in, and volunteering with various animal shelters, have worked in veterinary and animal control settings, and have experience boarding, fostering, and house-sitting. I can administer medication and have a lot of experience with reactive dogs. I will provide your pets with attention, activity, and stimulation.
Reviews

Lisa is a total rockstar. She took on the task of caring for my 17-year-old cat, Miss Iris, very last minute—who hates everyone, everything, and especially the twice-daily meds and insulin she needs to stay alive. Miss Iris rewards your efforts with hissing, spitting, and surprise pee—but Lisa? Totally unfazed. She cleaned up cat messes (including my mattress—bless her), scooped the litter box (not required, but she did it anyway), and kept me updated the whole time so I didn’t have to stress while out of town for work. She even kept an eye on my blind cat, Rosco, and made fast friends with my overly affectionate cat, Mr. Pirate, who loved her visits. Thanks to Lisa, I was able to leave town with total peace of mind knowing all my cats—Miss Iris, Rosco, and Mr. Pirate—were in the best hands. If she can handle my crew, she can handle anyone’s. Book her. You won’t regret it.

Lisa is the best! Took care of our two kitties while we were out of town. She even got our nervous girl suki to come out of her shell and play which was so nice that she felt safe and loved! Lisa updated us with photos and messages and had us feeling so comfortable knowing our girls were well taken care of! We feel grateful for Lisa and the excellent care she provided our fur babies!

Did a great job! Will definitely have Lisa watch our kittens again!

Would definitely book Lisa again. Thank you🙏
