Pet care experience
Life-long caregiver/lover of pups!
There hasn't been a year in my life yet where I have NOT had dogs and horses until last year. From the time I was born until July 2023, I have had pets. My 17-year-old blind and deaf dog passed not long ago, and it is so unbelievably empty! She was a loss I will never come to grips with, but I am ever so grateful for her presence for 17 years of my world. For all 17 of those years, she was my sidekick who rarely left my side and traveled everywhere with me. She only became deaf/blind for the final 5 years of her life, and she relied on me heavily after then. It's a bond I very dearly miss. I was still the mother to a 34-year-old horse up until last July. I had him for 26 years! I guess you could say that my pets were prehistoric--which must be why I've been randomly asked by friends, neighbors, and colleagues to watch their pets. I've spanned it all! Although I am allergic to most cats, I'll still sit for them in others' homes. Medication administration doesn't bother me, and I have experience with dogs of all sizes--an 8 pound Miniature Pinscher, to a 150 pound Bernese Mountain Dog, with everything in between.

Ratings and reviews
Lisa was amazing! She was so sweet with Remy, we could feel the love right away, can’t wait to book again!

Lisa was great with my 2 small dogs. Lisa has dog-sat for us a couple of times. They love going to Lisa's house and don't seem stressed or anything when I return.

Lisa did a great job watching our house and pups. She kept us informed how they were doing and sent lots of pictures. I would definitely use Lisa again

Lisa took care of both my fur babies like she would her own kids. Will definitely take them back to see her!

Lisa is incredible! She communicates well and loves your pet as if they were her own. We are grateful to have Lisa and trust her wholeheartedly with Gus and Boo.
Lisa was great! She was able to take my dog with fairly short notice. She allowed us to come over and do a meet and greet and see her place. My dog took to her immediately and could tell she’s great with animals. She has a very clean and organized home and a big beautiful fenced backyard. She was great with communication and we will definitely look forward to having her dog-sit again in the future.

Schedule
I work remotely and because my daily routine for 5 years (until 2022) had called for special attention for my deaf/blind dog, it feels increasingly strange not providing that daily care lately. I am ready to carry forward with the routine still ingrained in me and provide your pet the utmost care and attention!
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a large fenced yard and I am sadly a pet-free home at the moment. Your guy/girl would have full reign of the yard and only a couple of off-limits rooms in the house.
A typical day
With trails galore and a large backyard, I can see to it that your dog gets all of his/her energy expelled before cozying up for bed! Although I work during the day, I am steps away from my back door, and the dog(s) can come in and out as they please. Is it fetch he loves? On it. Couch potato? Good with me! I can adapt to your dog's routine and needs.
