Availability
I work from home, which means pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed in around other commitments. I’m available for daytime dog walks and drop-in visits during the week, with a routine that allows me to give each pet my full attention. I usually schedule walks and visits at consistent times, which works well for dogs who thrive on routine and for cats who prefer calm, predictable check-ins. Living near a nature reserve also means I’m able to offer quieter walking routes away from busy roads. I keep my availability intentionally local and manageable so I’m never rushing between bookings. This allows me to be punctual, unhurried and reliable, and to communicate clearly if any adjustments are needed. If your pet has a specific routine or timing that’s important to them, I’m always happy to discuss this in advance.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I take a calm, thoughtful approach to pet care and always follow the routines and instructions you provide. For dog walks, I only walk small to medium, neutered dogs and keep group sizes small and carefully matched. I’m attentive to lead safety, surroundings and individual temperaments, and I choose quieter routes and nearby green spaces wherever possible. I’m equally happy to offer solo walks for dogs who prefer a calmer experience. During drop-in visits, I care for pets in their own familiar environment to minimise stress. I’m careful to keep doors and windows secure, follow feeding and medication instructions closely, and leave your home exactly as I found it. I communicate clearly and consistently, providing updates and photos so you know how your pet is getting on. I also make sure I have emergency contact details and veterinary information before care begins, so I’m prepared in the unlikely event it’s needed. I treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.

Information Lisa C. would like to know about your pet
Before care begins, I like to understand your pet’s routine and individual needs. For dogs, this includes lead manners, sociability with other dogs, any nervousness, health issues, allergies or medication, and whether they’d be happier on a solo walk or with my dog. For cats, it’s helpful to know feeding routines, litter preferences and how they prefer to interact. For all pets, please share dietary requirements, emergency contacts, vet details and access instructions. I’m always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand so everyone feels comfortable and confident.
A typical day
A typical day is built around calm routines, fresh air and attention to each pet’s individual needs. For dogs, this usually includes a relaxed walk at a steady pace, with plenty of time to sniff and explore, using quieter routes and nearby green spaces. As I work from home and this is something I enjoy doing rather than a main source of income, I don’t have more than one dog at a time; plus my own pet, Angus. This is especially favourable for pets who are anxious and easily overwhelmed or a bit more mature in years! Drop-in visits are tailored to the pet. For cats, this might be feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays and spending time with them in whatever way they prefer — play, fuss, or simply calm company. For dogs, visits include toilet breaks, play, feeding and a short walk if appropriate. Throughout the day I make sure pets feel settled, comfortable and cared for, and I provide photo updates and short notes so owners can see how their pet is doing. My focus is always on making pet care feel like a natural extension of your pet’s normal routine.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for pets for most of my adult life and currently work from home, which allows me to offer consistent, reliable daytime care. I have my own dog, Angus, who I’ve raised from 10 weeks old and is now just over a year. He’s a friendly, sociable Spaniel who regularly attends professional dog walking and doggy soft play, so I’m very familiar with safe group dynamics, lead manners and managing excitable, playful energy. I’m equally happy to offer solo walks for dogs who prefer a calmer experience, or paired walks with Angus where temperaments are well matched. Alongside this, I’ve had my cat for 18 years, from kittenhood through to senior care. That experience has made me particularly attentive to routines, subtle changes in behaviour, and the extra patience older pets often need. Previously, when living in London, I ran a small dog walking and pet sitting side hustle called Mutts Be Feline Good. This gave me hands-on experience working with a variety of dogs, communicating clearly with owners, and treating pet care as a professional responsibility rather than a hobby. I focus on small to medium, neutered dogs and offer walks in quieter routes and nearby green spaces, including a local nature reserve. I’m organised, calm, and very mindful of safety, routine and trust — both for pets and their owners.

Reviews

Couldn’t have asked for better care for our old girl Frankie. Highly recommended! 😍

This was our first time leaving Juno with anyone and we couldn’t have asked for a better person than Lisa! Juno absolutely loved her stay and all the long walks and attention received. Lisa sent regular updates which was lovely. Definitely will use Lisa again.

Lisa was incredible with Norman, taking him on lots of exciting new walks/parks and keeping us updated regularly with photos! We know Norman had an amazing time, and we had a lovely weekend away fully trusting he was in good hands. Would definitely recommend, thank you again!!
