My weekday work schedule is 5:00 am - 2:00 pm, so the afternoons are for drop-in care for your furry/scaly/feathery friend and taking your dog on a nice long walk!

Drop-In Care: I would love to be introduced to your pet prior to starting their care. I will feed, water, and play with your pet as per your instructions. I have experience caring for elderly cats, as well as experience administering oral or injectable (subcutaneous) medications, and will give your pet any necessary medications as per instructions. You will also receive daily updates and pictures of your pet for your peace of mind (I sure appreciate these when I have to travel away from my kitty!) I will also water your plants! Security and confidentiality are guaranteed: I work in the medical field and am very familiar with client confidentiality. Dog-Walking: I would to meet your dog prior to starting our walking adventures! Dogs will be walked at the distance/duration and along preferred routes as per your instructions. Dogs will be kept on leash and at my side at all times. I have walked dogs of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels, so if your dog needs a nice long walk, that will be no problem! All waste will be properly bagged and disposed of. Paws will be wiped after winter walks to remove all debris/winter road treatments.

Please let me know about your dog's temperament (are they nervous around other dogs, do they like to meet-and-greet every animal and human they see, etc.) , energy levels, and any training skills you would like me to encourage. Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements for walks, such as duration, distance, preferred routes, pre-walk/post-walk paw care, and pre-walk/post-walk medication.
A typical day
Drop-in Care: My goal is to ensure that pets do not feel lonely or bored during your trip. Both cats and dogs will be provided with engaging, personality-tailored activities during my visit for at least 60 minutes. Toy play will be 100% supervised to ensure that they are safely used. Dog Walking: I love walking the trails around the Rossland area and am completely comfortable walking on wooded trails.

Pet care experience
I have extensive experience doing drop-in checks and care of pets in their homes. I grew up in a pet-friendly home and have cared for cats of all ages and personalities. I also have experience caring for reptiles. I have also walked (or carried!) dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities for family and friends, and I love the opportunity to stretch my legs with a furry friend!
