I live on a farm with equines, so my schedule is built around their feeding and exercise, which means that I’m home most of the time. My dog (and yours) is inside the house, except when outside in the fenced area or on a leash while on a walk around our property each evening.

Millie is our very active senior dog who is less than 20 pounds. She lost her older buddy a few years ago and would love a friend to hang out with. We have a very large fenced yard for them to play in, but they will be inside unless they want to play outside.

Small to medium dogs that do not chase or show aggression to cats or other dogs are preferred, as well as dogs that do not sit by the door trying to “escape.” I want your dog to be comfortable here and my pets to not feel threatened. If your dog has fleas, please do not book with me.

Millie says, “We go out in the fenced yard first thing in the morning and then come in for breakfast. After breakfast, we can play in the house or go back outside if we want. Or we can relax while Lisa drinks her tea. If you want, we can be taken on a mid morning walk. Anytime we bark, we can go out in the fenced yard and watch for squirrels! Lisa lets us out regularly, even if we don’t bark. We have supper, and then we go on an end of the day sunset walk. We always go out just before bed. It’s fun at our house!”

As a neighbor of Lisa, we have had her care for our cats and rabbits when we have been out of town. She has been very attentive to the animals and followed the directions we provided. She has kept us informed as to how the animals are doing when caring for them. Lisa has dogs, cats and horses of her own and treats ours just like hers.I would highly recommend Lisa as an animal caregiver.
