I do not have any breed or age requirements, but would definitely want to know about medical conditions, concerns, and/or aggressive tendencies up front. I always try to arrange meet-ups first to make sure your pet gets along with mine.
A typical day
I work very part time and am available most of the week and weekends. We have a spacious yard but no fence. I walk our dog 3 to 4 times a day for about 20 minutes each time. We do some treats and play time with toys each day.

I received my first dog for my 8th birthday and have never been without once since. I’ve cared for pets of both friends and family for decades.

Lisa has been a friend of mine for almost 25 years. During this time, she was either taking care of someone else's dog, finding homes for the strays she encountered, taking care of dogs in transition to other homes and last, but not least, her own dog(s). (She was the only person I felt comfortable leaving my new puppy with when we had to leave town unexpectedly.) Lisa's brother-in-law is blind and would bring his very large service dog and the family dog along to visit during family holidays. She would manage the whole menagerie for the duration of their stay in her home! Lisa is a conscientious and loving dog owner. I feel she would do a great job as a dog sitter. She certainly was the favorite dog sitter in our previous neighborhood!
