I’ve owned dogs and cats my whole life and have frequently cared for friends pets while they were away. I used to volunteer for the humane society and have had various trainings for proper pet handling. I work full time but love to get in early morning or late evening walks. Our schedule is pretty flexible so I can talk with you to find something that works best. I have a large fenced in yard and one friendly dog to play with. We can accommodate kennels as needed. Dogs are allowed everywhere in our home, but we have pet gates in place to separate by areas of the home if needed. When your dog stays with me they become a member of our family.

When caring for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely and respect both your pet’s routine and your space. I’m careful with doors, gates, leashes, and known escape artists, and I take time to make sure pets feel comfortable with me rather than rushing interactions. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Lisa was great! We had some changes in our travel plans due to losing power ant our house and then flight delays and cancellations. Lisa was great about working with us on new drop off and pick up times. And of course, our dogs had a great time like always. They are always happy, sleepy, and calm after a week with Lisa!
Lisa was amazing! This was our first time using rover, and having peace of mind my dog was in good hands made a world of difference on my trip! She sent lots of updates and pictures.
Great stay as always! So glad that Lisa had a large kennel to accommodate our big puppy. Both dogs came back happy campers.

I can’t say enough about Lisa. She’s been truly amazing and my dog loves her/her space enough that it probably feels like a second home to him. He’s excited whenever I drop him off and I can always tell he had a good time/was happy for the whole stay when I pick him up. Leaving a pet can be nerve wracking but I fully trust Lisa and am so happy I’ve found her. I never feel the need to check in and make sure things are going well - but she does send pictures everyday which is such a great bonus. Very, very easy to work with and your pet will love her! And you will too!

Schedule
My schedule is currently flexible, which gives me plenty of availability for walks and drop-in visits throughout the day. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine, whether they need an early morning walk, a midday potty break, dinner-time visit, or evening check-in.

- The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them. Please let me know about their normal routine, temperament, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medications, allergies, triggers, fears, leash behavior, and any quirks I should know about. For dogs, I’d also like to know how they react to other dogs, people, bikes, wildlife, or anything else we may encounter on a walk. For cats, please tell me about hiding spots, door-dashing tendencies, and how much interaction they usually prefer.
