Information Lisa A. would like to know about your pet

Dog and cat friendly dogs only in my home for sitting services as I have 2 dogs and 3 cats to consider when I open my home up to other dogs. I've owned 3 dogs over the last 10 years and I walk a dog regularly with aggressive tendencies through no fault of their own. Lead reactive being the main problem. I'm very aware of how to deal with these problems and I'm always keeping up to date with the best solutions to help keep things calm.

A typical day

To get your dogs mind working we can play games like, sniffing out a treat, playing with toys and learning a trick or 2. Going for walks is also a big part of a dogs mental wellbeing so, mental and physical exercise can take place both indoors and out.

Pet care experience

I've lived with dogs all my life from the day I was born. I love all animals but dogs bring so much joy... they're a best friend.. a family member. I've owned a few dogs over the years, big and small... young and old... naughty and nice. I've also took dogs in who have become unwanted and kept them untill a good home has come up, all of which I'm still in touch with.. I visit regularly and I walk one of them with my dog twice a week. I also walk 2 other dogs for a friend and a family member with my dog at the local park. I meet up with othet dog walkers almost every day so that our dogs can ... just be dogs. My dog is a New Zealand Huntaway. He was born May 2017, he's over sociable and loves sharing his walks and his home with all dogs of any age and size as long as they like him too. He's very good with other dogs, he has no aggression in him at all... he runs away from dogs who play to rough. My cats are the boss with my dog and they stay out the way when othetr dogs are in the house. They're not dog lovers but they are tollorent. I love walking with dogs and my dog is almost a well trained dog. I always use time, patience, treats and praise... never punishment with my dog as I believe it's always going to work better. In my home... pets are family, they can have my sofa and my bed if they want unless a visiting dogs owner says no in which case I would respect the owners wishes but I feel comfort is always good.

Thanks Lisa - you did a brilliant job of looking after our cats, it was very reassuring to receive the regular updates, photos, video etc and thanks for coming out of your usual area to do it. We really appreciate it, thank you!

Second drop in visit from Lisa and judging from the pictures and videos sent, my boys were very happy to see her again.
