I gate off sections of my house I do not want my dog to get into. The living room is his space. He knows his room. If I need to crate him he knows that as well. He is a very friendly dog, but even if you have an animal that does not like dogs, I have geeked off parts of my house to be able to keep them separated.

I grew up with all types of different animals. Cats, dogs, hampsters, rabbits, and frogs. Currently I have Angel who is 13 years old cat. I have a gated back yard where they can roam free.
