Years of animal care experience
My name is Lio and I mainly specialize in Behavior + Medical animals due to my experience in the animal shelters and previously being a vet tech. I also do reptiles, birds, rodents, rabbits, fish- any works! I have experience with many different types of animals but I specialize with those who struggle with behaviors or medical concerns or the exotic pet parent! I used to work at the Humane society for 2 years, in that time I worked avidly with behavior specialists, vets, and dog trainers. I’ve interacted with all kinds of animals during this time, with my experience I am more than happy to work with reactive, anxious, and fearful dogs. I’ve learned dog body language to a T and will never push any boundary that you or your dog have set up. During my time at the rescue I had experience in Vaccinating animals, giving insulin to diabetic animals, supplying medication, supplying basic first aid, dog walking, dog to dog introductions, and basic training. I also worked with Puppies, senior animals, and neonates as well.

Lio also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.

Safety, trust & environment
I am used to a typical trouble maker so I’ve learned to always keep my eye out and know how to reinforce good behavior instead of punishing bad ones. I’m a cuddle expert and enjoy the dog who is clearly too big to be a lap dog sitting on my lap.
Ratings and reviews
Wonderful communication. Very punctual and pleasant.

Lio came every day and gave good reviews on what she did. She took care of my cats and they are very appreciative. 😊 thank you Lio.

Lio did a wonderful job taking care of our babies, including a temperamental Chihuahua and shy pandemic pup! Highly recommend.
She is so kind, classy, energetic listens to all the rules prompt on time she’s perfect. May God bless her and bless her family and bless her mom to raise such a wonderful daughter. I am so blessed to have her thank you so much God to find her.

I worked with Lio for about 2 years in a rescue setting. She handled dogs and cats of various temperaments and with various medical or behavioral needs. She followed instructions well and always asked questions if something seemed unclear or unusual. She gave medications, provided enrichment, walked dogs, cleaned the environment for cats and dogs to be housed and has good attention to detail.
I have worked with Lio at the Oklahoma Humane Society for ~2 years. She has always been fantastic with the animals we care for! She spends lots of quality time with them, and always handles them in a kind and responsible way. If I ever need someone to dogsit for me, I'll happily reach out to Lio!
