I work part-time at Watauga Opportunities and recently graduated from Appalachian State! I’m always looking for extra ways to move my body, so dog sitting and walking gigs are truly a luxury for me: a chance to do something I love while helping others care for their pets. I'm available most weekends and am happy to work around your needs!

I have a fenced in yard for playtime at my home, either solo or with other dogs. I like to keep a consistent routine for the animals I care for, so I’ll do my best to match their usual schedule and make them feel right at home. As for dog walking, it's important that your pup gets the adequate amount of exercise for their breed- so of course I will try to match that as well.

A typical day
- hiking - walks (greenway, park, around your neighborhood) - dog park (Arko, Mountain Dog, Seven Devils) - fetch / tug of war in the yard - cuddle time - occasional pup cup

Pet care experience
I grew up beside a high energy husky pup who was my very best friend and the one who taught me what it means to love animals deeply. My mom modeled what it looks like to truly care for your pets as family, always prioritizing their exercise, comfort, and happiness. Now I have two pups of my own, and I finally understand what it means to devote your every day to their care. It can be stressful at times, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Raising pets really does take a community, and I’m so grateful for the one I’ve built here in Boone. Because of it, my pups are always supported, able to socialize, and infinitely loved. I want to make sure you and your pets have that opportunity too.
