When entering your home, I make sure to follow every instruction and introduce myself at the door allowing your pet to come up to me so they are not overwhelmed or stressed. I talk to every animal and explain what I’m doing and have conversations with them throughout the time of our visit. I check for pet accidents or anything that they may have gotten into that would present a hazard to them and will clean it up or communicate with you to ensure it is handled and your pet is safe. I will always make sure your pet is safe before locking up.

A typical day
I love to narrate what I’m doing and talk/ask questions to gage the animals interest in certain activities, energy level, cuddle needs. I love providing sensory engaging activities with the animals through play time with their fav toys or treats. My favorite thing in the world is to earn a shy or anxious animal’s trust.

Cat care experience
I have extensive experience with cats and providing care for a variety of needs. My experience includes caring for cats with medical needs (administering medication, brushing teeth, special needs cats, and more). I’ve always had a special connection with cats and have fostered and adopted cats with behavioral challenges and who need special attention. The biggest compliment to me is hearing “Wow! My cat never lets anyone pet them” or “I’ve never seen my cat like that with anyone but me!” Every cat has a unique personality but they all are great judges of character. My goal is to make sure that they feel comfortable, safe and loved by keeping up their normal routine and treating them with individual care.
