About Linsey A.
Safety, trust & environment
Every pet is unique, so I always take the time to learn their normal routine and preferences before a visit. Whether I'm stopping in for a drop-in visit, taking your dog for a walk, or staying overnight, my goal is to keep your pet's routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I'll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, potty breaks, and any medications they may need.
Information Linsey A. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your pet, I like to learn as much as possible so I can provide the best experience for both of us! Please let me know about your pet's daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite toys and activities, sleeping arrangements, and any quirks that make them unique. It's also important for me to know about any medical conditions, medications, allergies, dietary restrictions, mobility concerns, anxiety or fears (such as thunderstorms or fireworks), and any behavioral tendencies like leash reactivity, resource guarding, or escape artist habits!
A typical day
Throughout the day, I'll make sure they get the exercise, playtime, and mental enrichment that's best suited to their personality and energy level. For dogs, that might mean neighborhood walks, games of fetch or tug, puzzle toys, practicing basic commands, or simply spending quality time together. For cats, I love interactive play with wand toys, laser pointers, treat puzzles, brushing (if they enjoy it!), and of course plenty of quiet cuddle time for the lap cats.

Pet care experience
As a veterinary technician with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, exotics, and farm animals, I bring an extra level of knowledge and confidence to pet care. I'm comfortable administering medications, monitoring pets for signs of illness or discomfort, and caring for senior pets or those with special medical needs. I understand animal behavior, body language, and stress signals, allowing me to tailor my approach to each pet's personality and needs. Beyond my professional experience, I'm a lifelong animal lover pursuing veterinary school, so caring for animals is genuinely my passion. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking companion, a patient friend while you're away, or attentive care during a medical recovery, I'll treat them with the same compassion and attention I'd give my own pets.
