Could we be your dogs best friend?
We love looking after dogs and want to help your pet feel at home with me while you’re away doing important human things. Your pet will be part of our family when they are with us and we will keep them in mind when we plan activities so that they get to join in. We live close to a big green park for walks We love to take dogs with to our activities like going to the pub, the river, paddling pool and for days out. If your pet is up for it of course. We recently took a pet on the miniature railway! I live with my partner who will also be involved in giving your pet love and attention. We have a big house and a lovely enclosed garden for them to enjoy and once we are all worn out they can join us chilling in the sofa If you have a bigger dog than our set criteria we are happy to have them as long as they are well behaved and able to sleep downstairs alone. I am a human nurse so hygiene is big on my agenda so I do lots of cleaning between customers. If your dates don’t align with our calendar please still ask and we can see if there is anything we can do

BMO had the best time at Linnet's place and was so happy. You could tell he had a really good time there and she took good care of him!
So happy to have found Linnet for my first use of Rover. Linnet looked after my 2 dogs for 3 days and they absolutely loved their time with her. Plenty of updates and photos were provided during their stay giving ultimate reassurance. Linnet was really accommodating for both dogs, one of which can be slightly nervous and fussy at dinner times. Two very tired and happy dogs at the end of their stay!
So glad I booked a day for Button with Linnet! She was so lovely greeting us at the door and sent photos and updates throughout the day! Couldn’t have asked for better! Fantastic lady and fantastic attitude and I would highly recommend Linnet and will definitely book in the future for other days/nights when needed - thank you!! 🩵

Apollo had so much fun with Linnet that he was disappointed to leave! We booked quite last minute for a night of boarding and Linnet made everything super straightforward and problem-free. She and her partner obviously care very much for animals and treat them like one of their own; it was lovely to see the updates as they came through to see what Apollo was getting up to and to see how much fun he was having. Would highly recommend :)
I couldn't be happier to have found Linnet. It is clear that my dog received top notch care - he was all chilled and calm returning home. The area is also really lovely, so I can see my dog has enjoyed his walks. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Linnet for anyone who is looking for home-boarding for their dog.

Schedule
I’m understanding if different schedules and will fit around theirs if needed. There are quiet spaces available in the house. I do a mixture of work from home and working from an office that’s only a few streets away. And partner does shifts so we can ensure someone is home 24/7. We can do any length and frequency of walk desired and dogs on longer stays will be taken for walks and days further away (Whisby being one of our favourite).

I have an enclosed back garden and live in a quiet street. There are no other pets here and it’s a big house for them to have their own space and move around when home. The basics of my job as a nurse is making sure basic needs are met like eating, sleeping, weeing, popping and feeling content, well and happy and I want to make sure this happens for your pet to…. So be prepared to answer questions about their pooping routine! I have done the NarpsUK free dog sitting course and am currently undertaking the full course which includes being educated about dog/cat first aid, breeds and healthcare.
A typical day
I love going for a walk myself so happy to take a dog along for company. I live right by Sconce Park and the beautiful Trent river.

- I have given dogs insulin injections before and looked after elderly pets. Please discuss all the details of your dog’s behaviour and routine with me so I can make them and you feel comfortable with me Please let me know where they like to sleep, we don’t allow dogs in the bed but do allow them to sleep in our bedroom if in their own bed (no snorers allowed or weak bladders in the bedroom 🙏 we have new carpets and sensitive hearing)
