Hi, I’m Carrie Ling Li. I know how much dogs mean to their people. They’re family and leaving them in someone else’s care can feel like a big thing. My hope is to be the person you can trust to give your dog love, comfort and attentive care while you’re away, so you can relax knowing they are safe, understood and genuinely cared for. I’ve been looking after dogs since 2020 and have experience with rescue dogs and a range of breeds including lurchers, German Shepherds, Cavapoos, Terriers, Labradors and crossbreeds. My husband and I live in a house with a secure fenced garden, and I love taking dogs out for gentle strolls or longer adventures in the nearby woods depending on what suits them best. For me, dog sitting is more than ticking boxes. I enjoy getting to know each dog as an individual, learning their little habits, understanding how they communicate, noticing what makes them feel safe and happy, and building a real bond with them. Whether a dog is energetic and playful, nervous and sensitive, or older and needing a slower pace, I try to meet them where they are. I care for every dog with the same patience, respect and affection I would give my own. I believe dogs give us something precious. They remind us how to love generously, live in the moment, and connect without expecting anything in return. I feel lucky every time an owner trusts me with someone they love so much, and I also learn from responsible owners about how to care for dogs better each time. My goal is simple: when you’re away, I want your dog to feel safe, loved and at home, and for you to feel confident that someone is looking after them with genuine care, not just doing a job. Sometimes it starts as dog sitting and ends with a new friendship, with both dogs and humans. And I think that helps to make the world a little better.
