Lindy was amazing! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone else and she made sure he was well cared for and had a great time. We were very impressed with her professionalism, great communication, and the loving care that she provided.

Outstanding care and attention. Our anxious dog was happy and loved. The agility training was perfect to keep him stimulated and having fun. Will definitely use Lindy again every time.

Special Behavioral Needs Experts

We understand how hard it can be to find a safe place to board a dog who does not like other dogs or find a dog walker who you feel safe letting handle your dog, especially if your dog is "dog reactive". That's why we're particularly happy and to board dog-reactive dogs in our split-level home. We will gladly take friendly and shy dogs of course, but this is not a boarding situation where your ...

What Lindy would like to know about your dog

Boarding Requirements:
Must be comfortable being crated in the evenings or be comfortable being left unattended in the boarding room without marking or causing destruction to walls. I may leave for an appointment during their stay, but your dog will not be alone for more than 4 consecutive hours during the day and will get many opportunities to run in the backyard (always supervised) throughout the day, have several playtimes inside or outside and hopefully we can teach your dog something new while they are on a staycation with us! I leave music/radio on for your dog and leave your dog with a yummy stuffed Kong (if that is alright with you) for times we have to leave him/her alone.
Dog MUST be comfortable with me approaching their crate (if crate trained), touching, and handling them. If your dog guards anything, I need to know what and in what situation they guard and may consider boarding them on a case-by-case basis if guarding behavior is manageable or mild. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns!

When Lindy watches your pet

Our daylight basement is outfitted for fun, and acts as our private boarding room just for your dog. The dog playroom and our fully fenced backyard have obstacles to enhance your dog's experience while staying in our home. We offer your dog a more personal and interactive human experience than a regular kennel can give as one of us is almost always around the house for a majority of the day. I'm a dog trainer who practices positive reinforcement methods. I'm used to high drive and active dogs, so I've come up with many ways of entertaining all kinds of dogs to keep them happy and safe. I provide your dog with agility obstacle training (included in boarding) and we may try some nose games like seeking out treats or teaching your dog to find an odor, depending on how long they stay with us. I also love training tricks. Each dog is different in what they like to do, and I cater activities to each dog's personality. Many activities take place in my home, but if you feel your dog needs to be walked while boarding we can definitely do that too! A mentally challenged and exercised dog is a less stressed dog while their humans are away.
