We aren't set up like a typical boarder - when your pet is here, they join our family and will be treated as such just like our own fur babies. They're free to roam the house and play outside when they want to just like they would if they were home with you! I absolutely LOVE my client pups like they're my own. I do leave the house on occasion since I'm also a human mom, however I do my very best to follow specific instructions and routines given to me by pet parents too. If your pet is crate-trained, I crate them when I leave or if they're not trained, I set up baby gates to create separation of different clients to ensure safety when unsupervised on those occasions. All pets also must be spayed/neutered and free of fleas with active preventative! Food for the time in my care must also be provided- we do have extra bowls for food and water and plenty of toys, but if you prefer your own, feel free to bring them! My kids also enjoy interacting with the pets I care for, so any pets I accept MUST be well-mannered with kids 1-10years old. I usually will send 1-2 updates per day, however you're more than welcome to ask for more at any time! If you don't want any updates, just let me know ahead of time! I've taken care of dogs and cats outside of Rover for several years. I have had multiple pets since childhood and currently have a large puppy and cat. Since losing our sweet 13 year old (both) pitbull in 2022 and lab in 2024, we love having visitors to come play. I have 3 kids also who will be giving your fur babies lots of attention! My lab also had a physical disability so we were used to caring for her every day.
