Raised on a farm in Virginia, I have taken care of animals both large and small. I have a heart for all animals and am hoping to feel a little more connected to home by sharing my free time to walk your loved ones. I am intentional and caring in the time I spend with people’s pets, willing to give lots of affection, and make sure your dog is well taken care of. I enjoy long walks, possibly more than your dog will. Back in Virginia, I watched many people’s animals (as well as my own) ranging from large dogs to feeding pigs and collecting chicken eggs. I have a 2.5 year old and a 4 month old English Cream Retriever who are the joy of my life. Now I look forward to caring for yours as well!

My partner works from home, but my dog has access to a fenced in yard during the day for potty breaks, swims in the pool with supervision, and goes on at least two 1-mile walks per day. My dog loves ALL dogs, and would be thrilled to tag along for a walk with your dog, if socialization is something your dog would enjoy! I understand the importance of your dogs well-being, and will take care of yours as my own.

We are so grateful to have found [Sitter’s Name] on Rover! She took incredible care of our golden retriever puppy, Rio, and also stayed at our home—which she left absolutely spotless. Her golden, Boise, was the perfect playmate for Rio, and it was such a joy knowing he had a buddy while we were away. It gave us such peace of mind to know Rio was safe, happy, and so well cared for. We will absolutely be calling her again whenever we need a sitter—for Rio and our pig, donkeys, and chicken! Truly couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Not only does Lindsey have a way with (and a love for) animals, but she is reliable, responsible, and good-hearted all around. She is the kind of friend that I am confident would drop everything to lend a hand to someone in need. A few years ago, my family was in a car accident that totaled our car - everyone was fine, but we needed someone to pick up our dogs, watch them, and keep them calm while we dealt with the aftermath of the crash. Lindsey was the first friend who I thought of to call, and right away she picked up our two big dogs (a black lab and a husky) in her car, drove them to our house, and stayed with them until we returned - and I know she'd do the same for anyone else. I can't think of someone I would trust more with my pets!
Lindsey is the perfect person to be a dog caregiver! She is a very caring and compassionate person who loves animals. She is comfortable around both small and large dogs, and she always gets along with them! Our friend has a very particular, ornery dog who doesn’t like many people. But, he loves Lindsey. He always let her walk him and pet him, and he doesn’t let just anyone do that! Lindsey is also very honest and responsible. I would trust her with my life. Lindsey is 100% qualified and would be an asset to your company!

Schedule
I am available on the weekends to check on, hang out with, or walk your pups! I am open to house-sitting at your home, but would not be able to accommodate house-sitting in my home.
