Information Lindsey U. would like to know about your pet

I want to make sure your dog has a safe, fun, and stress-free stay! Here are a few things I’d love to know beforehand: *Activity & Comfort Levels* Does your pup enjoy long walks, dog parks, and outdoor adventures? Are they comfortable around water and swimming, or would they prefer to stay dry? How do they behave on a leash—any pulling, reactivity, or special commands I should know? How do they interact with other dogs and people at parks or in new environments? *Car Rides & Outings* Does your dog enjoy car rides, or do they get nervous or carsick? Are they crate-trained for travel, or do they prefer a specific setup in the car? *Health & Safety* Are they up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, and any other necessary treatments? Do they have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications I should be aware of? Do they have any food sensitivities or restrictions? *Routine & Preferences* What does their daily routine look like? (Feeding times, potty schedule, etc.) Do they have any favorite toys, treats, or comfort items that help them feel at home? Is there anything that makes them anxious or nervous (loud noises, thunderstorms, certain environments)? The more I know about your pup’s needs, the better I can make their stay feel like home! Let me know how I can best accommodate them. ??

A typical day

Our mornings start bright and early with breakfast, followed by a walk or a fun trip to the dog park between 6 AM - 9 AM to get some energy out. By 9 AM, I settle into my home office for remote work, while the dogs relax, play, or nap around the house. Throughout the day, I take short breaks for 20-minute walks to keep everyone active and engaged. When I run errands, Bernie and Bev often tag along for the adventure. In the evening, we go on a longer walk when their human dad, Matt, gets home. Dinner is between 5-6 PM (Bernie is very serious about this schedule! ?). After that, we unwind by the pool or hang out in our spacious living room for some snuggles and playtime. Bedtime is between 9 PM - 11 PM, with one last potty break before settling in for the night. Your pup will fit right into our routine, getting plenty of exercise, attention, and love! ??

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Lindsey! I grew up on a farm in Iowa, surrounded by animals both in our home and out on our family farm. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and my love for pets only grew when I rescued my first dog, Tank, in 2009. His brother, Morgan, soon joined us, and they became my adventure buddies—always ready for a road trip or adventure with Mom. They passed away due to old age (16 and 13 years old, RIP my babies) and soon I found myself with another duo to complete our little family. In 2021, I adopted Bernie, who absolutely loves meeting new dog friends and playing host to our furry guests. He thinks he’s part human, part dog, and 100% social butterfly. A little over a year ago, Bev joined our family as the second doodle (making this our B-Team era), and she’s been the life of the party ever since! I work from home with a flexible schedule, so hanging out with the doggos is my main focus in how I structure the day. Whether it’s neighborhood walks, playtime in our yard, or adventures at dog parks across the Valley and Arizona, your pup will get plenty of love, socialization, and exercise. Our home is two levels, with a fenced-in yard and pool. We always have eyes on doggos, even if I'm in a Zoom meeting and they are running around in the huge, spacious living room on our ground level. Our home is set up for dogs in mind, as every one of our extended family members also has multiple dogs -- the cousins (and their friends) need room to play! We’d love to welcome your furry family member into our home! 🐾💛

Where to begin with raving how incredibly wonderful it was to have our baby stay here! As with anyone leaving their fur baby for the first time, it was nerve wrecking at the thought of leaving our baby for the first time, but Lindsey and family brought a sense of zen having left our baby in their care. There were constant updates given in texts, pics, and videos to ensure he was a happy pup. In picking him up it was obvious he was a happy little camper and enjoyed the stay! We would like to scream from the roof tops we found someone we trust with our baby and look forward to work with her again. A million thanks we can count on her!

Our boy had a fantastic time with Lindsey! Lindsey communicated everyday with pictures, videos and communication. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
