I am a stay-at-home mother of 3 children which allows me to provide exceptional care for our various animals. The dogs go in and out of the house all day long to play and potty. Dogs get ample play time, frisbee, balls, playing with kids, exploring outside. If you would like to book your dog's stay at the Farm I do not need much of an advanced notice, however a meet and greet is necessary to ensure your dog will get along with our dogs and children. The safety of all dogs and the children is of the utmost importance. It is my preference to accept dogs from one family at a time, however I will allow dogs from different families if I have overlapping bookings and both owners have agreed. If this occurs (which it has in the past, with no issues) I will contact owners to ask for approval.

We live on a 10 acre farm with horses, chickens, a barn cat and 2 dogs. There is no fenced in yard, if the dog has a good recall they are welcome to run free and play. However, all dogs will be first kept on a leash and introduced to the farm animals to ensure their safety and evaluate if the dog will need to remain on a leash outdoors during their stay. Dogs that do not have a good recall will be taken out to play regularly on a long 15ft line so they may still play and enjoy while being kept safe. On the Farm we use electric fencing for our horses which is almost never on however the neighboring cow fence is usually on. Dogs must be friendly with children as I have 3 small children ages 5, 3, 2. My children are used to dogs and do not cling all over them and have a healthy respect for a dog's personal space.

If you have any special requirements for your dog, please let me know so we can be sure their needs are met and they have a good day. If you decide to book your stay with us, I will need your dog's feed and schedule for feeding. Your dog should arrive with a collar on that has their name and phone number on their tag! This is very important in the event your dog gets lost. If your dog arrives without a collar, I will have them wear a special collar with my name and number during their stay for their safety. All dogs must have a current rabies vaccine and should be on a regular deworming schedule. If your dog roams free on the property it is a guarantee they will eat various kinds of animal poop, therefore it's important to be properly deworming your dog. If your dog is sick in anyway, please do not book their stay and wait until they are better.

We start our days by going outside to feed and water the other animals. The dogs enjoy some exploring and then go inside to relax a bit and have their breakfast. We go in and out throughout the day to play and potty.

Dogs are more than just pets, they're family! I have owned Australian Cattles Dogs for 20 years, they are the air I breathe! I have experience from basic house-training puppies, obedience, tricks to barn hunt and sheep herding. I am a stay-at-home mother which allows me to provide exceptional animal care and engagement! I have cared for my dogs post-surgery and through extreme illness so I am comfortable giving medications and providing first aid care to dog who may need it.

Lindsey did an amazing job caring for our dogs, Cookie and Rocco, while we were out of town for two nights. She kept in touch throughout their stay, sent plenty of photos and updates, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were busy purchasing a home in New York. It was clear that Cookie and Rocco were well cared for, comfortable, and getting lots of attention. Lindsey was reliable, communicative, and genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with them. We could not have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely trust Lindsey with our dogs again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter! As dog parents, leaving our babies behind is never easy, but Lindsey made the whole experience stress-free.
It was the most perfect stay imaginable. My wild Goldie pup had great care and stimulation. Lindsey came through for us during a time when I was hospitalized for surgery. The peace of mind that she gave me through out this was a god send. Lindsey is the type of person you connect with immediately

Lindsey is super sweet & was very accommodating with our last minute request. She communicated with us & sent us updates & pictures daily. We did not worry while we were away as she made Dexter feel right at home with her family & other dogs. Would definitely use her again!
