Foster and service dog experience
My husband and I have been caring for dogs for years. After 4 years of fostering rescue dogs, we adopted Ella - our Foster Failure. We then moved on to volunteer with a local agency that trains service dogs. We have cared for numerous dogs and puppy raised two successful service puppies. We are taking a break from the full time raising but Ella is a sociable girl and would love to have some friends come over to visit. We do prefer to have a meet and greet first and make sure the dogs get along well. Ella is a 4 year old Lab/Hound X who plays hard outside but is fairly lazy in the house.

It's always comforting knowing that Charlie is so well taken care of when we are away. Lindsay and Stephan treat him like family and truly care for him!
Steph and Lindsey took great care of Tom while we were gone for 2 weeks. Lots of walks were had and we know he was loved well!
Lindsey and Stephan were nothing short of amazing care takers of Nova while I was away on vacation. They kept me up to date with daily pictures/videos/stories of Nova and that was greatly appreciated! Will definitely consider them again in the future.

Lindsey and Stephan were amazing with Porter. They were very professional, meeting ahead of time, making sure the animals all got along. When we dropped Porter off, they had mats down on slippery surfaces, since Porter is scared of floors. We got several pictures and updates along the week. We highly recommend Lindsey and Stephan and will absolutely be booking with them in the future.

Schedule
My husband works from home full time and I work a flex schedule. We do have kennels in the house but we don’t always use them if not needed

Safety, trust & environment
Large fenced yard. Bungalow. No young kids. We don’t have dogs in our bed or on the furniture. However we do allow it on the basement furniture.

A typical day
We have a big yard for dogs to run and play on. We also frequent the dog park when the weather permits but we would not take a dog that we did not feel confident in their recall ability.
