Pet care experience

Animals are the center of my world

I am an avid animal sitter from cats, dogs, horses to goats, chickens and ferrets. I absolutely love them all as well as owned multiple of these critters throughout my lifetime. I am currently a Bellingham Tech student, First year in the Veterinary Technician program! I am most available Friday/Saturday/Sunday however am around during the week for feeding, walking & cuddling ♥️ I live in a 2 bedroom apartment to myself and have space for fur babies to play. I also have a truck and would be taking dogs for adventures! Animals are welcome to jump up and get cozy on my furniture. I am laid back and my number one priority is always animal trust and comfortability💗🌸

House Sitting • Feb 28, 2026

Lindsey did a house sit for me this time. And she is just a gem! My cat is always so happy and content when she stays with him. I can genuinely tell he was well loved based on how relaxed he is upon my return. She also did an amazing job caring for my golden retriever— giving him love, medicine, and good play time. I felt safe and was relieved to have her watch my pets and home. Thank you Lindsey! You’re the best! 💕

Lindsey is truly a great find. I strongly recommend her as a pet sitter and human. She is kind thoughtful and incredibly passionate about animals and their care. She is studying to be a vet tech and holds a natural aptitude for being with animals. She combines her natural ability to connect with animals with her knowledge from Working in vet medicine and being around big and small animals through her lifetime. My cat has been with her 2 separate stays and both times he was so relaxed and content. Very grateful to have her watch my cat/ love of my life. She is loving gentle and knowledgeable about animals and I feel at ease knowing my cat is with her while I travel.

Lindsey is the best caretaker we have ever encountered. She loved Boomer like he was her own dog. It was so fun to get pictures of him having fun while we were away. Boomer was smitten by her and he slept and cuddled her overnight in her bed ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ we are so happy we met you! Much love from Boomer, Camilla and Allan.

Doggy Day Care • Nov 15, 2023

Lindsey watched my dog at her house for 4 hours and my dog seemed to have a great time. She even walked my dog without me requesting. She sent me a pic of him napping comfortably. I definitely recommend her and totally feel comfortable with her watching my dog again.

Schedule

Animals are my top priorities when pet sitting and I tend to their needs as they arise. For example, i’ve taken care of some dogs that want to be played with all day, walked and go potty every hour. And then I’ve also taken care of dogs that sleep for a good four hours and go to the bathroom after they are rested and go on short walks. So it really just depends on the animal and their needs:)

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Has an unfenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I think it’s most important to make sure that the animal just feels safe and comfortable in your home and I dedicate time to gaining trust and really just listening to how they feel. I definitely had some dogs that were a little nervous and it took a couple days to gain trust but I still was able to provide them with a safe space and just let them know I was here if and when they wanted support, comfort, attention or to play/go potty.

A typical day

I love to go on walks, throw the ball, run in fields (in a caged dog park), sit by the water, take breaks, nap, and play.

I would say, providing me with personality traits I find to be important just so I know them a little bit ahead of time and also any specific things they either do not like at all or really enjoy.
