Hello there! I'm a PhD student at OSU with a passion for animals and a background in understanding their emotions, as reflected in my honors thesis on companion animals. With over 6 years of dedicated cat sitting and dog walking experience, I've become a trusted companion for many furry friends in Corvallis & Philomath. I take pride in my long-term relationships with clients, providing reliable and caring services. Whether it's walking reactive dogs, taking care of cats with big personalities, or handling multiple dogs at once (3+), I approach each situation with patience, understanding, and a genuine love for our four-legged friends. Previously, I worked as a rehab tech at a local stable, where I assisted horses in their rehabilitation journey. I have also worked with animals who required medications or had special needs. Lindsey did an amazing job with our dog. We were gone for a decent stretch of time, something I knew would be challenging on him. Even so, she easily rose to the occasion. She developed clever playtime activities to help keep him active and engaged. Patient with him when he was more sassy or reserved. She was very attentive and even going above and beyond to check on him extra when he was a little more stressed. Before our trip I was concerned our dog was going to struggle during our absence. But Lindsey made sure he still felt loved and cared for while we were away!
Lindsey did an amazing job taking care of the animals! They were fed and happy! She sent pictures of them playing and having fun. Received great communication and updates while I was away.

This ensures that I maintain consistency and reinforce the behaviors that are important to you and your pet. Additionally, I take proactive measures to address potential emergencies. I'll walk you through my emergency protocol, covering all essential aspects to guarantee a comprehensive and well-prepared approach. Open communication and careful consideration of your pet's unique needs are fundamental to my care philosophy, providing you with peace of mind while your furry friend is in my care.

I love exploring new trails, parks, and pathways on walks! I usually steer clear of other dogs or groups of people in order to ensure that your pet is safe, happy, and healthy.

- It's important for me to know about your dog's training levels (there's no shame here - training is tough!) as it allows me to better understand your dog and communicate with them in a way that they are most familiar with. I also want to know their anxiety levels, if they're reactive or not, and if there is anything I should look out for on our walks or during our time together. For cats, I like to know about their personalities, if they like to try to sneak out the door, and if they have any necessary medical information that I should know!
