Nurse & Dog Lover 💕
Hi! My name is Lindsey and I am the friendly face your dog needs! I have been a dog owner my whole life, and currently have a very cute & sassy pitty lab mix named Bear. However, the dogs that really stole my heart and made me a dog lover for life is my family dogs, Holli and Bella, who both passed a few years ago at the age of 16 and 13. Both of my senior dogs required extra love and care in their old age including medications 3x/day for Bella who unfortunately was prone to seizures, and medicated baths and ear cleanings for Holli. Bella had a seizure disorder her whole life and would often require extra time and guidance after a seizure to help her reorient. So I am well versed in the area of medications and extra love for extra needs. Holli and I were the best of buds though (pictured in profile). She was my ride or die until the end - literally lol. When she could no longer keep up and walk long distances, I decided to buy a backpack and start biking/walking with her on my back so she could still enjoy the outdoors. The neighborhood loved seeing her! I miss those two goofs very much, but I still am the best dog aunt to all my siblings fur babies and now my fur baby, Bear. I’m starting with Rover because my job as a nurse can be stressful, and I’m looking for a flexible side gig to make me happy and a little less stressed.
Qualifications

Safety, trust & environment
I am well acquainted with care of dogs across the whole age spectrum. I care for all pets like they’re another member of the family. (Because they are!) I currently live in an apartment so I know the routine of having to take my dog out 3-4 x per day and get some energy out with a walk after work. I love to cuddle and Bear loves to cuddle as well, usually by taking up half the bed at night! I know all dogs have different preferences and routines, and I am happy and eager to learn about you and your fur babies!

Lindsey is amazing with all pets! She gives them so much attention and care. She's taken care of dogs, cats, reptiles, and fish with all different needs. She's managed medications, special food, and injured pets. You'll be so comfortable with Lindsey caring for your pet. She will treat them as her own!
Lindsey is and always been an animal whisperer. She has always gained the trust of animals and loves taking care of them. She takes responsibility seriously. You can have peace of mind if Lindsey is taking care of your pet.
Lindsey is a lover of dogs and a trained care-giver. She has watched my 2 pitbull mixes many times and they love her! No issues whatsoever with the house, dogs, or communication. I believe she would make an excellent pet watcher.
Lindsey is a wonderful, deeply caring pet sitter. She's looked after our dog with so much attention and love. She walked, watched, and treated her like family. She's reliable and attentive, and our dog clearly adores her. I'd trust her with any animal without hesitation.

Schedule
Since I’m just getting started, I am looking for a few low key walks, potty breaks, and play time. I am a nurse and currently work 4 days a week. I have most weekends off and a rotating weekday off. I am hoping to squeeze a walk/care visit in once or twice a week on those days just to start.
