I am available for walks and drop-in visits Monday through Friday. On weekends, I offer evening walks, evening daycare in my home - perfect for when the pup needs to get out so you can have a worry-free evening - as well as drop-ins.

Your pet's safety and health is my top priority. I will always stick to your feeding and care instructions. I will never introduce your pet to other unknown animals without your prior approval. I will always use your approved food, treats, and training tools. When dog friends come to stay with me, we choose activities with their needs in mind. They have dog beds, a human bed, and a comfy couch to hang out on. Just outside is our fully fenced yard for supervised outside fun. Dogs visiting in my home are not left alone until they’ve shown they are settled and comfortable, and never for more than 1 hour out of every 5 hours they’re visiting. We have 2 resident indoor cats in the home. The cats are kept separated from visiting dogs. If your dog is cat-friendly, we may integrate them after a few visits, if it seems amenable to all involved animals.

I'd like to know your pet's comfort level with new humans. Does your dog make friends with every new person in their space, or can it take a few meetings until new humans are trusted? Please alert me of any food intolerances or allergy concerns, as well as medical conditions that may impact your dog during our time together.
A typical day
When pups spend time with me, we'll spend time doing a balance of activities and appropriate rest, depending on your dog's needs and personality. This will mean a mix of sniffing and exploring my fenced backyard, perhaps chasing a few squirrels, walking around the neighborhood, exploring our supply of durable toys, and snuggling on the couch. We always have water available and keep a supply of various treats on hand. If I'm watching your dog during their usual meal time, I am happy to feed them their usual meal!

I have vast experience in dog care for dogs in every stage of life! I am excited to get to know your dog and provide attention based around their personality and care needs. **Serving Alameda and Oakland** I have many years of experience in a professional dog care facility, dog walking/training, and general housesitting. After 7 years operating a local dog daycare/boarding facility, I am excited to be transitioning to more personal pet care. I have lots of experience in animal medical care, including administering medications in various forms (including injections), surgery recovery (wound care, mobility limitations), and basic wellness practices like ear cleaning, nail trimming, and brushing.

Great communication with us and really tuned in with Lulu. Every picture Lindsey sent showed Lulu was having a great time and was being well cared for. Super attentive and caring and a lot of fun walks and time in the backyard. Lindsey really came through for us and Lulu! Lindsey is a gem!
Lindsey was a pleasure to work with, and took great care of our doggie. We had an initial meet and greet and I could tell right away that Lindsey was a dog lover and thoughtful and competent caretaker. While our pup was with Lindsey many really lovely pictures were shared and daily reports posted, so we knew that she was in good hands. Great communication throughout, and even when we needed a somewhat last min change in the booking Lindsey was very accommodating. If you need a dogsitter in Alameda, Lindsey is highly recommended.
Lindsey was amazing with Astro! Our pup had such a great time with her today. She took Astro out for a nice walk and spend some time playing fetch! When we told her Astro was having a bit of an upset stomach, she even offered Astro some homemade rice as a remedy. Thanks again for spending some time with our pup! Would 100% recommend her!!
Lindsey was a fantastic Rover for our boy, Brave. She communicated promptly and congenially and sent us pics and updates. I would gladly reach out for her services again and I recommend Lindsey to the Rover community.
