Consistency is key, and I find it best not to alter their daily and nightly routines. I want them to feel comfortable and relaxed while you are away. If I stay in your home, I treat your home as if it was my own. Just like your pet, I provide the same level of care for your home without judgment. You come home to it being clean, neat and tidy. I wash the sheets, take out the garbage and recycling, sweep/vacuum and wipe down all surfaces that I used. I also bring in packages, water indoor plants, move garbage and recycling bins to the road and small and/or minor request are usually accepted. In the spring and summer months, I will water outdoor plants, but inquire about additional cost.

At the meet and greet beforehand it’s important that we discuss a few things: - Vet information. - Allergies of any kind. - Triggers of any kind. - Activities that your pet enjoys. - What your pet dislikes. - Let me know if your pet has separation anxiety. - Emergency contact information for you and my emergency contact information for you. - Any other important information that you feel I should be made aware of.
A typical day
Whatever activities you do with your pet, I provide the same activities for them. Just let me know if there’s anything specific. I do with your pet as what you would do.

I ONLY service, Highland Falls, Fort Montgomery and West Point, NY. I do NOT service outside of these 3 territories. I will NOT take bookings outside of these three areas. I do this full time and my schedule doesn’t allow me to accommodate outside of my territory. With 23 years local experience, I am very dedicated, passionate and committed to my profession. I am a full-time Dog Walker and Animal Caretaker. I have operated my business solely word of mouth up to this point. I take bookings all hours and days of the week. Over the years, I have cultivated clients that truly have become family to me. Your animal gets cared for and treated with the same love, care and attention that you yourself would provide for them. My experience has ranged from dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, farm animals, exotic animals and much more. When it comes to animals that are large breeds, disabled and/or have temperament issues I have a ton of experience.

First time using Rover and it was a great experience. Lindsey was wonderful. She took great care of my two guinea pigs, Sam and Dean while I was on vacation. She set up a meet and greet beforehand and I instantly felt at ease with her. She came to my home everyday for a week to make sure they had everything they needed - fresh water, hay, food, and veggies. She cleaned up and switched out their bedding when needed. She updated me throughout the week and also included pictures. It’s hard to leave pets behind when you go away so I really appreciated that. I highly recommend Lindsey for your pet care needs. :)

Lindsey has been our pet sitter for over 5 yrs. We can not say enough about her. She is totally reliable, dependable and responsible for your fur babies. She treats them as if they were her own. When we are away for long periods of time she sends up daily updates and photos so we can see how everyone is doing. Lindsey also which we consider a bonus has our house as clean or cleaner when we come home. No dishes in the sink, dog bowls are clean, dogs have fresh water, and NO garbage in the can. Lindsey treats our home and our fur babies as if it were her own. We do not have to worry when we are away how things are going as we know (we get pictures) they are in good hands with Lindsey. I would recommend her to anyone who truly loves their pet and wants them to be in safe hands.
