I have always had animals in my life in some capacity, so I’m comfortable with a variety of pets and breeds. Outside of having dogs and cats of my own, I have experience fostering, volunteering in animal shelters, and working as a pet sitter for friends and family. I recently left my job as a social worker to stay home full-time with my two daughters, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to meet the needs of your family. I have a special place in my heart for senior pets. My husband and I have adopted and cared for a number of senior cats and dogs over the past 10 years. I know how important it is to have trust in your sitter & feel confident your pet will get the same love and care as they do at home. Feel free to message with any questions you may have. Lindsey and family are so wonderful! Great communication and care for our boy. They were able to accommodate a last minute extension when we had an unforeseen funeral and inclement weather. They treat and love our Charlie as if he is their own which is such a relief when we’re away from him for a bit. Have used before and will always prioritize booking with Lindsey!

Schedule
Since I am currently home full-time, I have a lot of flexibility and can match your dog’s typical schedule as much as possible. We spend a lot of time outdoors: walking the quiet loop in our neighborhood or running around in the backyard. Depending on your pup’s energy level, they can get plenty of exercise and/or lounge time outside.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large, fenced-in yard (fence is about 5 feet high). We will only board for one family at a time, so your dog(s) will be the only ones in the home. I have one cat who keeps mostly to herself and who is comfortable with dogs. I will send daily pictures & updates so you can know what we’re up to while you’re away.

A typical day
Our day involves a lot of play - indoors and outdoors. We spend a lot of time outside. I am never gone for more than 4 hours, so there will be plenty of love and attention at home.
