My family are animal-lovers and I have always been raised with dogs and cats in our home. As an adult, I couldn’t wait to have a pet of my own! Tucker, the Australian Shepherd you see in many photos was my first ever dog on my own. I got him during my 3rd year in the Army and he kept me company as a single soldier living across the country. We traveled back and forth to Fort Bliss, Texas and experienced so much along the way. Sadly, he developed bone cancer just after turning 4 and passed away. But I learned so much about pet care, through both our loving times and hard times with them. I share the same love and compassion for pets that I know you all have for your animal family (because we know ‘friends’ isn’t a strong enough word to describe them!).

I have trained my own little guy to multiple property lines so he is unleashed when on private property. However he is leashed at all times while at my apartment complex. Extra precautions are taken to ensure proper use of the leash prior to using on the dog (i.e., retractable, non-pull, etc.). Proximity control of the dog when near doors as well to ensure they don’t accidentally escape. On walks, ensuring knowledge of your dog and how they respond to people, animals, wildlife, etc. Also ensuring cats are unable to sneak out the door when coming/going (because we know, if they can, they will!)

Lindsey has watched my little doggo for 2 years and he adored her! She’s fantastic with animals and a great communicator. I could not say enough good things.
