Hi I’m Lindsey! New to Knoxville, I recently worked at Stand For Animals in Mooresville, NC as a Veterinarian Technician during COVID-19 in 2020. My duties included: drawing up vaccines, cleaning surgery supplies, creating surgery packets, assisting the vet during surgeries, office visit care, etc. I have worked at Dunlap Veterinary clinic since I was 16 years old. Here I was a kennel assistant. Duties included: Supervise and care for all animals that are boarded in the kennels (cats, dogs, small pets, etc.) -Mentor and train new employees, advised in certain areas to help them succeed in the job. -Clean kennels for all animals, walk dogs, distribute medicine, feed and water all animals, bathe dogs, cut toenails, exercise dogs, engage in playtime with all animals. -Aided Veterinary Technicians in giving shots, fluids, x-rays, and drawing blood when needed. I have been living with cats since the day I was born and absolutely love them! I frequently have dog sat beforehand too while living in multiple states including Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina. I love all dogs and cats, no matter the size, breed etc. I have great experience will all animals - even exotics as I have volunteered at 2 animal sanctuaries and have a bearded dragon! I have had hands on experience working with elderly animals including giving care for Diabetics and hearing/vision impairments. I currently have one cat Norman, and a bearded dragon Hiro! My family pets include 2 kitties Mason and Emma and an 11 year old Cocker Spaniel mix Maddie. I am here to ensure that your pet feels safe and content when taking care of them. And of course love on them endlessly!
