I’m a previous registered nurse that’s currently on disability. My disabilities do not prevent me from providing most pet care. I do take a reduced workload of pets, so please get on the calendar as soon as possible.

I prefer caring for pets in the client/pet’s own home. Your/their home environment is more comfortable for the pet(s), and I can better ensure the safety of your and my pets that reside in my home. In some special circumstances, I may be able to board your pet(s) in my home. I have a large back yard, but it is not fully fenced. I have cable tie-outs available, as well as offer leash-walking. Feel free to reach out to discuss your needs!

Information that would be important to know about your pets: any special needs, serious medical conditions, medications, mobility concerns, behaviors, specific fears/anxieties, allergies, training/skills mastered and/or struggling/having difficulty mastering; care preferences, leash/harness needs/use, and how to access the pet/home (door code, garage code, key location, for examples).
A typical day
Activity is based on the dogs needs and preferences, as well as the owner’s preferences. I love to take dogs for walks- generally around their neighborhood or a nearby park if it’s okay to transport your pet. Playing with toys and games, snuggling, and spending quality time with them is also important and offered!

Pet care experience
Over 20 years of experience with cats, dogs, and small mammals. Have also worked with pets at their end of life, and have experience/am comfortable with medication administration (can discuss fee/directions). Primary experience with dogs/cats, but always willing to learn with proper direction/instruction for other pet care needs. I take pride in the care I provide to your pets/animals/loved ones. I am a pet owner myself, and want the best for all animals!

Lindsey is THE BEST! On short notice, she was able to drop in and spend some time with Emmylou. You can tell from the pictures how happy Emmy was!
Lindsey was - as usual - great to work with! We had her booked but unexpectedly had to put one of our dogs down. She was kind and caring when I needed to cancel, and was super flexible when we decided to go out of town after all and rebook her. She sent me tons of pictures of the dog we lost, and left the kindest gift for us on the counter. She gave our remaining dog loads of cuddles and attention - keeping an eye out for any impact on her. We are so grateful for her - she truly loved animals and is simply a great human being!
